Banner Suggestion

I suggest a setting should be made in the admin CP, similar to
the logo image url, in which we put the URL of the image we want
to use as forum banner, and the Image appears as a banner. I'd
love to see this setting :)

I mean, a place in the admin CP where we put our 'banner image
URL' and the image appears as our forum banner.

There's already a setting for that.
Admin > Layout Settings, Theme Settings
Find Logo Image URL and put the URL for your logo there. It will
appear at the top of the forum.s

I know about that, but I want a setting for a banner that
stretches across the forum width.

It would actually look very ugly if the original dimensions of
the image is stretched. I would just recommend designing an
image that's as long as your forum width and use that as your
logo url.
