There is no ajax code used, if you want, you could remove it.

Well of course it stops working because the code is the reason
why it works in the first place.

I know that.. :D But when I remove the script code and keep the
jQuery the white spaces and gaps are still there :-\ , whilst
when I remove the JQuery and keep the scroll down one (even
though it of course doesn't function) the white spaces and gaps
disappear :o ... so what I was saying is that the reason those
gaps are there must be in the jQuery code not the scroll down
one:

I am saying the above incase whilst you tried to fix it you were
focussing on the scroll down script as the error not the jQuery
:)

The jQuery as the one in the headers? It isn't going to do
anything on its own because it's basically a set of functions
and codes activate them.

I have no explanation for that but try removing the code and
then clearing your cache.

Do you really not know what could be causing all the while
spaces? No matter where I place it, left right top bottom, on
one page, on another, everything is distorted with large white
spaces.
??? ???
Probably a really obvious fixable error flying past both of us
:D
