       Calender

       As Admin I have no problem posting an event etc but members are
       getting this message -
       "An error has occured, you aren't allowed to modify just any
       post ."
       I have the settings set so all members can use the calendar.
       Can anyone suggest what the problem could be please.

       You need to check their permissions in Admin -> Permissions.
