Icaria kept silent and didn't retaliate, but internally she was
fiercely rolling her eyes and scowling. Reprimanded by a simple
soldier, and from a completely different Armada at that. "Fine."
She said. "I'll reserve judgement until this is explained." She
knelt and plucked the Mother Box out of Zakhar's hand,
delicately avoiding the growing pool of blood.

As the dropship entered the bay, the soldier entered the doorway
to the bridge only to have his lower body disappear in a
instant.

Icaria followed him and yelped in surprise when the soldier she
was following was suddenly a lot shorter than he had been
moments before. She wasn't completely sure of what had
happened,to cause this sudden reduction in height.

"ah, so it was third division that had been converted to
Templars, damnit, they have gotten farther." Zakhar said looking
over the corpse

Icaria looked at the living Zakhar, then back at the bloody mess
laying on the floor in the dropship, and back at Zakhar. They
both looked exactly the same (even though the dead Zakhar was,
well, dead). On a better day, she might have figured out what
was going on fairly quickly, but today had just been too trying
for her to handle another surprise. Thanagar had been destroyed,
and now she was stranded in space with a mercenary captain she
barely knew. A captain who was, apparently, undead.
"You're..." Icaria started to say, gaping in confusion. "You're
dead. How...?"

"No, i'm not dead yet, i would have been though had the Templars
had their way. They're Elite Amarrian Troops." Going over to the
dead Zakhar body, he picked up a vest that had just become
visible on the body. " I changed their clothing to reflect me,
giving the idea that it was me there, not one of his troops."
"It also seems that your motherbox allows for two boom tubes at
once, so i sent him up here and i went to my ship" Zakhar said,
stopping to make sure the half of a Templar was dead.

"Ah, I see." Icaria said. "Now it all makes sense." She walked
around the bridge, looking at the various panels and
instruments. Some of them made sense to her, but the rest was
complete gibberish. Zahkar and his mercenaries were obviously
from a completely different civilization than the Thanagarians,
most likely a whole other galaxy. Maybe even another universe.
Icaria thought. It wouldn't have surprised her if he was. "How
does your ship fly?" She finally asked, when she couldn't make
much more sense out of what she was seeing than what she had
already surmised.

"We use Ion thrusters for the main forward movement, friction
slows us down when we needed to decelerate. We use
electromagnetic forces to give the space around us resistance
and small impulse thrusters for turning. For getting to place,
we lock onto the natural gravity wells for our warp drives to
travel to them. The Drives are powered by our capacitors which
are Fractal accereration shell capacitors which use rotating
atoms to generate the needed energy." Looking at Icaria "I'm not
sure how much of that you got, since that using our vocabulary
instead of yours."

"I understand the basic premise. Thanagarian travel along
highways in hyperspace that are anchored in real space using
various stations on planets set at key points around the
galaxy." Icaria said. "It's like taking a short cut-you travel
out of real space via an artificially generated gate on one of
those planets I mentioned, and into hyperspace, and then you
show up again at a location it would have taken months, maybe
even years, to reach ordinarily." She explained. "Hyperspace
time moves faster than real time, so you don't have to worry
about showing up a hundred years after you were supposed to
arrive." She failed to mention that some of those planets had
been inhabited before the Thanagarians had used them for their
gates, and afterward not one living thing could survive in those
places. It was the price of an empire.

"oh, thats an interesting way to travel, primitive, but
interesting, you mearly accerelate past the speed of light to
arrive at the destination, and since of our speed, we don't have
to enter hyperspace."
