Dracona fidgeted worriedly on Cyndor's shoulder. She wished that
she could return to her true form so that she could support her
friend, but she also didn't want to cause a panic among the
passing humans.
Glancing around to make sure none of the passing humans were
paying attention, she fluttered to Karra's shoulder and
whispered something in the elf's ear. She hastily returned to
her perch, and Karra moved closer to the staggering Cyndor.
"Lean on me." Karra said in a low voice. "I have a feeling that
we will be walking for a while yet."

Cyndor shot Karra an angry glare. "I can walk just fine--" He
started to say, then stumbled and fell, saved by Karra's arm.
She snickered and wrapped her arm around him.
"Come, little lamb." She teased him. "I'll help you."
"Hmph." Cyndor fumed. He didn't refuse the help this time
though.

"Of course!" Cyndor snapped. He tried to compose himself. He
was, after all, a god. The ruler of time itself and quite a
powerful magician. Unfortunately he had almost no power in this
world, since he had only two disciples, at least that he knew
of. "Now how do we get a room here?"

Cyndor stared at Icaria for a minute or two. "A room is a room."
He said rolling his eyes. "You work it out, and come get me when
you're done." He said, stalking away to sit in a chair in the
lobby, grumbling to himself about not having time for such
things. He sat down in the large plush chair, sinking a few
inches into it's comfortable cushions. He sighed in relief.
"Finally."

Karra sat down on a chair across from a cheerfully crackling
fire and let her head rest against its padded back. Dracona
crept out of the cloak where she had been hiding and curled up
in Cyndor's lap. She let out a low thrumming noise that was akin
to the purr of a cat.

Cyndor eyed Dracona resting peacefully. "You know, sometimes I
can't tell between you and a cat Dracona." He raised his hands
into the air, framing nothing in particular. "I can see it now.
Dracona, the fearsome Cat Dragon ravishing the lands, ruler of
the Seven Kingdoms." He chuckled.

Dracona yawned widely and stretched out, eyeing Cyndor in
amusement. "Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms sounds nice." She
thought for a moment. "A fur coat would be nice as well."

Cyndor scowled, remembering a time back in Mechanus. "Corellon
and his damned coats. He thinks he's so great because he created
elves. What right does that give him to be the creator of fur
coats?!" He said crossly. "I mean sure he does all that arts and
crafts crap, but really, fur coats? Couldn't he just be happy
with his elves?"
