Cyndor shook his head slowly when Janon returned the man's
wallet. "Well I'm old enough to know when I'm fighting a losing
battle." He said. "Janon, so long as you agree to cooperate, you
can join our team."
Cyndor studied Janon's face for a long time, wondering if he was
making the right move. He didn't even really know what their
'team' was.

farther back in his chair.

have lunch on me." He looked at Janon. "Besides, now that we
have him, who needs to pay?"
"I'm kidding of course." He said in response to several glares.
"Besides, I think even he would be hard pressed to steal lunch
for eight people."

"Right, well dinner aside we have things to do now." Cyndor
said, getting up. Everyone started to rise with him and move
away from the breakfast table. "First things first, we may have
managed to get some of the mutants yesterday but they aren't
gone, not by a long shot."
He sighed and looked out the window at the street below. "We'd
better go deal with them. If we surprise them we'll be able to
get most of them, easy."
