I watched one of Riou's war duels with genesis while reaper was
getting ready to duel him. In that particular duel, he was
using ZealGigas against Decato who was using Worms.
Riou's pretty bad =\ He makes alot of poor decisions. In one
of the duels he [wasted] a Reborn for an arbitrary level 4 just
so he could overlay with one of his gishki's to make a
Maestroke...for no apparent reason. I thought at least that
he'd overlay for a Lavalal Chain or Emeral lol.
He still ended up winning cuz G3 he opened Hole/Heavy, etc etc
(even though he Heavied on a turn when he wasn't even going to
do anything except set a monster...)
So in summary, I think he's generally going to be an easy win as
long as he doesn't draw Sack. He's also on alot...so take him
out if u see him ;)

I beat Charko 2-0 and, since I had technical difficulties saving
the replays, we re-did the match from game 2 and then I won 2-1.
He was using a Malefic/Geartown deck with Skill Drain and the
Machina engine, which is a bit inconsistent, for he would just
sit there for some time doing nothing until he drew a combo
piece (Skill Drain + a Malefic, Geartown + a Malefic, Geartown +
a card to destroy it, 2x Geartown). Because of this, in the
games I won, whenever he was able make a play I already had an
answer to it.
He as a player is between low and average. If you watch the
replays you will see he made some rather weird choices, probably
due to him not knowing exactly how certain cards interact: for
example, I had a face-up Rai-oh; I activated Heavy on his 3
backrow and he chained Starlight Road, and then chained Book of
Moon to flip Rai-oh face-down, probably because he thought
Rai-oh could negate SDD's summon off SLR, which he can't.
Wasting his Book like that is what made him lose the duel.

I lost 0-2 to EvilJoey and his Atlanteans. Here are the replays:

Game 1 was rather difficult. When he summoned Diva I chose to
use Maxx C to generate some advantage and, in case he wouldn't
synchro (which he didn't), I knew I could take Diva down. When
he got his 3400atk Megaloabyss up, I really think summoning Gorz
at that time was one of my best 2 options, so it wasn't really a
mistake. Now getting so conservative when the game was so
simplified was why I lost the duel. But even if I had played
differently, his Gorz would have eventually beaten me down. To
sum up, I lost this game because of bad judgement at the end,
and him having what he needed.
In game 2 I don't think I made any remarkable mistake. He had a
decent hand and his topdecks were more than I could handle. When
I didn't activate my f/d TT it was because I had already given
up and, as you can see, he even had Reborn to finish the job.
I'm open to criticism and corrections.

Just watched the duels, and there wasn't much you could do in
terms of performance. It was a bad match-up where your side
didn't help much at all, and he had what he needed to maintain
and increase advantage. Regarding your side, I'm about to
comment on your deck post with suggestions. Bad luck man.

I watched the Reaper vs EvilJoey match. Joey used Atlanteans
again, so I wouldn't expect him to switch decks in future
matches, but you never know.
Game 1, you could have played differently on turn4. You should
have used Grapha's effect on Gungnir, and used Reborn on it.
Then discard Dragged to destroy his f/d and force Megaloabyss.
Next, sumon Broww into Grapha and destroy his 2 Megaloabyss.
From there, since you knew his 2 cards in hand, he would have
been in a bad position (only Abysspike on field, Abysslinde and
Abyssphere on hand, and 1 last Megaloabyss in his deck, so
chances of synchro into Big eye were low). I know this was not
easy to figure out, specially if you are not familiar with
Atlanteans, but next time, if you see a face-down, it will more
likely be Abyssphere (into a potential Megaloabyss), as it's the
only trap Atlanteans run 3x of.
Game 2, you made the perfect move 1st turn; Zenmaines and hope
to destroy a f/d Typhoon, so that your Gates would be safe. Even
though he had tons of spell/trap hate in his hand, you managed
to get your 2nd Gates and speed the tempo. Very well done.
Game 3, you were too Reckless activating Reckless (lol), you
should have waited a bit more. There was really no need to
activate it at that time. In addition, your draws didn't help
much, so it also was bad luck.

Before you go into HellGP vs. me, I know that it was messy as
hell. I forgot that certain Fabled cards existed (Unicore,
Krus), have duel rust against that archetype and wasn't on top
form (hooray for misclicks). I'm surprised I won at all. Side
decked Macro to the rescue! Speaking of, I didn't even draw my
Rai-ohs...
Well I suppose I better say what he used and all. It was Fableds
with chainable traps like Phoenix Wing Wind Blast and Beckoning
Light. As far as I can tell it's geared towards summoning
Unicore. He also mains my arch-nemesis, Morphing Jar, and
usually sets Kushano as his opening play. This allows him to use
it whenever he likes, provided it goes to the grave. Notable
techs include: Malevolent Catastrophe, Lightray Daedalus, Freed
the Brave Wanderer, Guardian of Order, Liberty at Last and
Compulsary Evac. Device.
