Also, I started doing some scouting of my own on them, and
inputed the data I gathered from their war against Genesis into
a datasheet, check it out:
HTML https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AixFCFYZMrOwdFh3Q1Rkb1Eya1l6ZDBYQUhQTEJiVXc&pli=1#gid=0
It basically contains the deck(s) each member uses, some of
their side deck cards and their performance, measured as
wins/matches. In the cells where it says "See dropdown list...",
you have to click that cell and then click on the little arrow
that will appear on the right of that cell. You are welcome to
complete/update the datasheet (anyone with the link can edit).

MisterVIP also uses Merlanteans. His build is somewhat strange,
and he's not the most adapt player with them, but he uses
solemns which could catch people off guard.

I did a round with Mario and he used Agent Herald. Standard
stuff, y'know. But since our duel didn't come to a conclusion
(he DC'd the first time when I killed Perfection with Trag then
the second as I was about to make the game winning play I DC'd)
he will probably change decks.

I watched the match between mlangit and MisterVIP.
Game 1 you played like the angels (pun intended).
Game 2 I would have used BTH on Gearframe (you had CyDra to get
rid of Fortress anyway). This way, Venus would have survived and
it would have burned your opponent's Warning. But I guess you
were expecting his Fortress drop, which wouldn't have happened
unless you had responded Gearframe. Other than that you played
well, but him having Maxx C, BTH and Veiler ready at crucial
moments really sealed it.
Game 3 you played well, but you got trolled hard: Veiler on
Venus, then Gorz and finally SLR on Heavy. There was no hope.

Played Salamance today and he was running what looked to be
Standard Heroes against my Agents. Nothing extraordinary except
that his deck seemed to barely run any traps (or at least he
never drew them)...which kind of sucked cuz I sided in the extra
backrow for it. I Lost G2 cuz I got stuck in a Kristya Loop
while he had a Shining out that was @ 2900 atk :| G1 and 3 were
steamrolls though.
Also played Mario who is using an Evilswarm Rabbit deck. G1 I
trolled him hard with megalo, big eye, and Moulinglace. G2 I
got wrecked by Macro Cosmos (and the fact that I forgot to side
in my 3rd MST). G3 - Airorca put in work. Unfortunately I
misplayed near the end when i got too Diva happy. He dc'd the
following turn though while i was in an advantageous
position...so I assumed it was a rage quit. He logged off skype
too though so it might be a DC that he'll come back with later
:\ We'll see. I posted it as a win for now.
Mario's deck was REALLy heavy evil swarm. It didn't seem like
he ran too many traps...but he used more level 4 evilswarms than
I'm used to seeing. He opened Sabersaurus G1 though so it might
be TOO monster heavy...idk I'd have to look at the whole deck
on the replay.

Played MisterVIP just now. I used Inzektors, he used Agents. I
picked Inzektors cuz I know Mister is pretty smart about his
deck/side choices...and nobody expected Inzektors. Thankfully
it worked out to my advantage.
Hi Agent build is super standard. At first I was "worried" that
it woudl be the trooper agent build, but from what I saw, it was
straight up Agents with traps. He mains STARLIGHT ROAD which
completely thew me off G2. I played into an obvious road
because I thought it would draw a solemn judgment (who runs ROAD
in agents?!). He also mains Heralds. I'm not sure whether he
mains or sides Veilers, but he Veilered me once in G3. That
also threw me off lol. Runs Gorz in a seemingly trap heavy
build. He has alot of unorthodox choices for his deck...so
watch out for him.
LASTLY: I'm going to take a little break from the war since I've
already gone 3 times. U guys gotta step it up now. Also,
MISTERVIP has dueled 3 times as well. Please avoid him. He's
arguably the best duelist on the team.

MasterVIP uses quite a bit of sub-optimal tech choices for many
of his builds, and he doesn't always make the best plays. The
one time I played him, he used Mermails while I drew crap Game
1, and Game 2 he lucksacked into Dark Hole, Warning, and
Judgment which he set alongside 3 other backrows, which is quite
unusual to say the least but also decreases the overall power of
the deck. Just play with a good top tier deck that can control
the tempo of the game without overextending (i.e. not Mermails)
and you should be good.

^^Just to clarify, Mermails never over extend unless you're bad.
Megalo is, at the very worst, a -1...but more often than not
it's a one for one or a +1. There is really no mechanic in
Mermails that requires you to overextend. Diva is a one card
play. Megalo is a 3 card play but it gives return in field
simplification..that's not overextension when you're trading
equally. Everything else is a pure searcher or a +1 card.
Also, i woudln't underestimate MisterVIP. he still has solid
play skills. Granted, it's typically paired with god-like top
decking, but everyone should still be on top of their game when
they face him.

I would say Salamance is their top player. He was a beast in
YO3, and I have seen him win on Pro more often than I have seen
MisterVIP. But regardless, Paladins is a team of very good
players, I would say they have a similar level to that of
ShadowBright or Dreamstate.
