My Jacob is a scripter and has things memorized the first time
he hears it....... not a good thing!!!! We had to get rid of the
cable....it was just too tough figuring out what he picked up at
school vs. tv. vs. home..... he was saying some things that to
us are fine....but when repeated in the wrong context are not
ok!

It is tricky because people are amazed by it and think it is
cool and funny....so they encourage him to do it....which is the
worst thing that anyone can do.... He goes for weeks at a time
with just scripting....no words or sentences of his own.

Thats got to be tough on him when people are "prompting" him to

Ugh--I can't imagine how tough that is and how frustrating,
especially since others don't understand the challenge of it.
