       CD Case/4x6 Case Calendar workshop!
       By: Lisa J Date: September 30, 2010, 12:48 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Wanna impress family and friends with your phenomenal crafting
       skills???
This fun and easy project can do just that! The calendars can
be created ahead of the holiday rush and put away for gift
giving later on! Make sure you print up an extra one to keep
       for yourself!
The CD case calendars are created and printed at home - or at a
printers - usually two months to an 8.5 x 11" page and trimmed
out by hand or with trimming tools to fit standard CD cases that
can be special ordered or purchased in a number of different
locations. They work best with the standard cases, and not the
"slimline" version. All the pages store neatly INSIDE the CD
case for gift giving and when the cover of the case is flipped
open, it creates a cool little display stand for the desk!
The 4x6 case calendars are the same idea, but one step EASIER!
Because they are created in a 4x6 layout/arrangement - you can
print them straight to 4x6 photo paper or send them to your
favorite photo printing site and you don't even have to trim
them out! I found a great resource for the 4x6 cases and even
with printing costs and the case order, you can usually create
       these for under $5.00 each.
During this new ONLINE workshop - we will work together to get
you calendar project started - you will learn enough to get one
project finished, and then have the skills to create as many
more as you need to make sure everyone on your list gets one!
The great thing is, pages (months) can be mixed and matched so
you can create different versions for everyone on your list!
They even make GREAT gifts for that hard-to-buy-for teacher!
Just snap a few photos of kids in class over the next few weeks
and you will have everything you need.
I will show you how you can create these easy to make calendars
from kits and papers you already have, in addition to showing
you how you can use pre-created designs from digital
scrapbooking websites for an unlimited variety!
I will host the first CALENDAR WORKSHOP on Saturday, October 2 -
from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Eastern). The class will be limited
to 15 participants so you must sign up ahead of time to get the
link. We will host the workshop again several times over the
next few weeks, so if you can't join us this time, no worries!!
I will try to record it as well, so if you can't catch a
workshop, you can still get them done!
There will be several items I would like you to have completed
BEFORE the workshop starts - and even if you have beginner level
skills with MMS you WILL be able to do this project!
So, please send an email IF you can definitely make the Saturday
10/02/10 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm time and we will see how it
       goes!
There will be no charge for this workshop and you will receive
(as a little "thank-you" for attending) a FREE set of 2011
calendar overlay png's and a little shopping code for the Design
       Shop.
Please only sign up if you can make the scheduled time - I will
post another workshop time later in the week!
Hope to hear from you soon!
[move]... and don't forget to make a memory today!![/move]

Hey, girls. I saw this calendar project and thought it would be
easy to make something similar in MMS.
