How did you find digital scrapbooking?

I am a digi addict. I freely admit it. I stumbled into digi
scrapping when I needed to make a picture book for a gift. I
made my first book and was hooked like a fish on a worm. I want
to know how you found out about digi-scrapping.

Hi all! I totally fell into digital scrapbooking! Always been a
huge fan of the idea, but NOT of the expense, and mess and
"stuff" you needed to continue to buy to keep a traditional
scrapbook going and current! One night, I saw an infomercial
for "My Memories Suite" digital scrapbooking software... I
ordered it, and the rest is history! I love keeping up with my
projects, and I just *LOVE LOVE LOVE* that it is completely
portable on my laptop!! My albums are gorgeous and I looked like
a pro from my very first printed project 3 years ago. I now
have a stack of COMPLETED projects to look at and I never run
out of goodies at 2:00 am!
       I will NEVER go back!
       Lisa J. ;)

I have loved scrapbooking for a VERY long time......I just laugh
when I think of myself back in 1998, right after I got
married....sitting on my back porch using my my edging scissors
to cut pictures out and glue sticks to adhere!!!! What was I
thinking?!?!?!?! (I really feel as though I should start a
scrapbookers anonymous group for all who are embarrassed by the
number of edging scissors and glue sticks they used to complete
their earliest projects!!!!) I got rid of the edging scissors
and really did become a pretty good paper scrapbooker, but when
I saw just what digital scrapbooking could do for me I decided
to leave the paper for airplanes and move to my computer!!!!!!
I have only been doing this for about a year and I just love it!
It allows me to have 3 children under the age of 5 and still
keep current on my scrapbooks!!!!! I love to meet other people
online and receive inspiration from other people's work!!!!!

I stumbled into digital scrapbooking, too! I was sick of the
hassle and mess of paper, even though I loved doing it- it just
became a whole "thing" trying to keep up with my twin's albums
and then the thought of adding another baby (coming in 6 weeks)
was really overwhelming. So I decided to do those Snapfish photo
books from now on, even though I felt really guilt about it! I
thought maybe I could do the Creative Memories software but it
didn't appeal to me and was costly, too. So I thought maybe I
could read some digital scrapbook software reviews on Amazon,
even though I didn't think I could do digital or that it would
work for what I wanted. But that is when I came across MMS and
after reading the reviews (the only one not to have a bunch of
negative reviews!) I decided to try it out and I am so glad I
did! It is so easy and so fun and so addicting!!!!!!! I will
never go back to paper! I sold all my paper SBing stuff! I am
loving having a clean dining room table (without bits of paper
and stacks of photos, etc all over it)! And I am keeping up so
       much easier!!!

I TOTALLY stumbled onto digital scrapbooking. I had NEVER heard
of it. I was actually searching online to purchase some
traditional scrapbooking supplies, when I came across the words
"digital scrapbooking". I knew IMMEDIATLY this was for me. At
the time I had just completed my VERY first traditional
scrapbook album and was not at all impressed with the
results.....and yes, in case you were wondering, I DID use the
dreaded edging scissors! I did not at all care for the mess,
cost, and time needed for traditional scrapbooking. As soon as I
discovered digital scrapbooking I looked for a program to
purchase. I came across My Memories Suite first, so i purchased
right away! Im soooo glad this was the program I found first!

I just wish we could convince the Photoshop users to cheat on it
and try MMS -- It's so easy to do some of the stuff that is
       really advanced stuff in photoshop.

My niece Lisa posted a page on FB and I asked her how she did
that and voila, I was hooked... how can you not love this
program with all it's features that will allow you to save your
memories and photos in such a great way. My photos are all on
my HD now and standing in line to become a treasured page with a
story attached. I love this program over others I have sampled
or purchased. It's easy and quick to learn with a fabulous team
of Suitegals to help and a ton of users who have graciously
passed along the things that they have learned to help us out...
an A+ program and support system in place... great for all
levels of computer users as well.

I do a lot of arts and crafts and came across Hallmark Scrapbook
Studio. I bought it and loved it until I realized that I could
not change very much on my pages. I started looking around and
found MMS on a Google ad. I had always done scrapbook projects
in Photoshop but they were more for my standard books and not
       all digital.

I received MMS as a birthday gift from my stepmom last year. She
posted a scrapbook page of my wedding picture on her FB page and
I asked her how she did that! She hinted that good girls have to
be patient! LOL! She had already bought the software for me for
my b-day and teased and taunted me with her beautiful work
before my b-day! I send her scrapbook pages of the kids on her
FB page all the time now! I love MMS!
