All time - Fedor Emelianenko (close second goes to Bas Rutten,
third is Kazushi Sakuraba)
Current - John Jones (followed closely by Jose Aldo)

Good thread..
I go way back to VHS/Blockbuster rentals days..gapped off for
about 8-10 years..losing track (about the time, when it was PPV
only and becoming illegal in the US) and got back into it about
3 years ago. With that said, I'll go with my old fave from the
early days; Royce Gracie. Do yourself a favor, if you've never
seen it..and seek out the David v. Goliath (UFC 5?). No gloves,
very little in the way of rules..

Current..has to be Junior Del Santos, GSP, and I don't think
there's a more exciting fighter right now than Jon Jones and
like Miguel Torres' style. Rangy and awkward standup with good
power on the end of his hands.

Admittedly he has had a few losses of late, but dude was
undefeated for over 10 years (28 fights, if you're wondering).
On several occasions he was the smaller man by differences of
50+ lbs. This man in his prime was absolutely unstoppable. I
could watch this highlight reel all day. :)

A genuine master at his craft indeed...I think I watched like 12
Pride fights so missed out on alot of these guys early in their
careers. This guy, I wouldve loved to watch in his prime.
Highlight reel is fucking awesome.

Think I might have to add Rhonda Rousey to my list. I haven't
heard her speak, and I know she got a lot of flak for whatever
she was saying, but holy shit that girl can fight! Looks like
she trains with Gene LeBell, who's another all time favorite of
mine. Double win.
