NHL Playoffs 2012

Make your case...
I've been kind of a douche with the Bruins this year...when they
fell into the mid season swoon and Thomas starting running his
mouth and forgetting how to stop the puck, I kind of lost
interest for awhile. Not very diehard fan of me, but been
keeping an eye on them.

They seem to have tapped into what made them a cup contender
last year of late..in spurts anyways..almost like they're bored
with the regular season? That's probably a bit of a exaggeration
on my part, but the uninspiring play at times is pretty
nutty..and the ability to 'turn it on' (at times) at opportune
times has me getting pretty excited heading into the playoffs
(especially with the seed they all but have locked up)

I'm extremely worried about Game 5 of the Flyers-Pens series.
Now, in addition to a fractured foot Bryzgalov now has an hip
injury. He looked like a statue in Game 4. The Flyers need to
step it up defensively and finish this series off because if not
I can see the Pens coming back to win this series.

Yeah, it's playing out nearly perfectly for a 'guins series
win...all the momentum is theirs, so yeah, as an observer and
not a fan of either team, I'd say Philly has some serious
gut-check time on the agenda..as it's not looking good. Defense
has been shit on both sides and goaltending not much better as a
whole. The team that tightens it up obviously (in the net also)
takes it.

Bruins taking it home for a game 7 Weds. night and what a killer
way to end it, having Seguin taking it down low, and waiting for
Holtby to flatten out. Wednesday can't come quick enough. Who
doesn't like a game seven?

I guess the only reason I don't want to see the Kings win it
because of the Richards and Carter. Both are great players, but
it's going to sting if the Kings win it due to the overhaul of
the Flyers team last off season because those two were the
primary guys that were shipped out.

I could see that sentiment..but they got hot at the right time.
The stat that kind of clouded this years playoffs was the
ineptness (once again) of the power play. One of the record
lowest percentages won the cup this year and last.
