Marine plastic waste hidden in the food

There are two major sources of plastic particles in the ocean,
one is the decomposition of large pieces of plastic waste,
including plastic bottles and industrial plastic waste; the
second is added to the matte cleanser and other cosmetics in the
tiny particles.
According to the British "Daily Mail" reported that scientists
have said that each year was thrown into the ocean of plastic
waste close to 5 million tons, some of which have even been
contaminated with plastic particles to the consumption of sea
salt. Based on the analysis of sea salt produced in China, the
researchers found hundreds of tiny plastic particles per
kilogram of salt. This means that, according to the current
recommended amount of nutrition, consumers will eat an average
of about 1,000 plastic particles per year, and for those who
often eat shellfish, the annual may eat up to 11,000 plastic
particles.

There are two major sources of plastic particles in the ocean,
one is the decomposition of large pieces of plastic waste,

second is added to the matte cleanser, lotion, toothpaste and
other cosmetics in the tiny particles. The size of plastic
particles is usually below 5 mm, the vast majority is very
small, even the naked eye can not see. Scientists worry that
these tiny plastic particles can pose a serious health risk to
the human body.
Plastic particles in toothpaste, as well as tiny plastic fibers,
are easily absorbed by marine creatures, including plankton,
shellfish, etc., and remain in the food chain, passing to large
fish until humans.
In order to protect marine life, frosted facial cleanser, shower
gel and toothpaste in the plastic particles will gradually stop
using. This tiny particle can even pass through the water filter
and flow to the ocean. And in our daily life, we should pay more
attention on plastic recycling, such as polystyrene
