Plastic pollution has caused great problem

In a study published in 2015, marine researchers purchased fish
from the US and Indonesian markets and checked their stomach
contents. The results showed that in the fish market, about a
quarter of the fish's internal organs contain plastic particles.
Previously, a 2014 study found that supermarkets sold oysters
and mussels in the internal organs containing plastic particles.
For oysters and mussels, people will eat them all, including
       their internal organs.
What is the impact of this fish on the human body, for this
problem, related research is still in its infancy.

"We do not know what's going to happen," says Chelsea Rochman, a
conservation biology researcher at the University of California,
Davis, in a paper on fish contamination in 2015.
"For the known pollutants in seafood, such as dioxins,
polychlorinated biphenyls and mercury, the relevant consumer
guidance has been introduced." Halden pointed out that "for
plastic and plastic transmission of pollutants, is still no
similar regulatory regulation, because scientific research in
this area is still in its early stages. " And plastic recycling
such as Styrofoam recycling system is not mature.
Although Rohman studied the plastic in the fish's stomach, she
said that the chemical contaminants contained in the fish would
be studied to clarify how much contaminants had penetrated into
       the flesh of marine life.
It is well known that adipose tissue is a place where the
concentration of pollutants is relatively high, so the fish
contain more fat (such as salmon and tuna), they are exposed to
plastic waste and the degree of pollution may be higher.
For plastic pollution, people have begun to act. Last year, US
legislation prohibits the use of plastic beads in personal care
products, which will take effect in 2017.
In addition, the US Environmental Protection Agency will issue a
circular when a chemical contaminant that may affect seafood is
suspected to appear in US waters. However, most of the seafood
consumed by Americans is imported, and they have never received
contaminants from the EPD and other government agencies.

What kind of damage does plastic pollution cause to marine life
and its food users? For this problem, although scientists have
no definite answer, they agree that there must be a significant
reduction in plastic waste flowing into rivers and oceans. And
       plastic recycling such as Styrofoam
       recycling

       ut
also can reuse the waste resources.
