White pollution, a hundred years of war

White pollution is an image of people who are difficult to
degrade the plastic garbage (multi-fingered plastic bags) which
pollute the environment. It refers to the use of polystyrene,
polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and other polymer compounds
made of various types of living plastic products used to be
discarded into solid waste, due to random chaos throw, it is
difficult to degrade treatment, resulting in serious
environmental pollution phenomenon.
According to statistics, people in their daily lives about 92%
of the plastic products are polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene
(PP). The former is often used as shopping bags, food bags and
industrial and agricultural films, the latter is mainly used for
packaging textiles, needle cotton products, clothing, shirts and
so on. The plastic mentioned in this paper is polyethylene.
Polyethylene occupies 40% of the total production of plastic
products. Each year, the world produces about 80 million tons of
polyethylene, people want to use about 1 trillion plastic bags.
Although the use of polyethylene in people's daily lives is so
common that it is often overlooked, it poses a serious burden on
the ecological environment, especially the marine ecological
environment.
In the EU-27 and Norway and Switzerland, 38% of the plastic
products are directly landfilled. In 2014, the US Environmental
Protection Agency data show that when the United States produced
a total of 33.25 million tons of plastic products, of which only
9.5% were recycled, and another 15% were burned, the remaining
75.5% were landfill.
These are directly discarded polyethylene products are very
difficult to degrade. Low-density polyethylene plastic bags take
about 100 years to fully degrade, and the most stubborn
polyethylene even takes 400 years to degrade. They are piled in
the ecological environment, blocking the ecological cycle, so
that other biological overwhelmed.
It is reported that about 8 million tons of plastic waste into
the ocean every year. If you do not take effective measures to
control, by 2025, the total amount of plastic waste in the ocean
will reach 155 million tons, and by 2050, the weight of plastic
waste in the ocean will exceed the sum of fish. So, plastic
recycling such as
