Hey guys, just intersted to hear what you think. Another forum
I'm on is doing this, so I thought it might be interesting to do
:P
Personally, I don't see what the big fucking deal is. I love
taboo videos, because the same old disney ones etc are getting
so boooring :L It's stupid to try and stop peopel fomr making
these videos; if you cant handle them, thne you shouldn't be on
youtbe, because the web is full of 'em

It's ultimately up to the editor what they want their storyline
to be/what they want their movie to portray. It's not right to
say "You can't make this," because then it's basically taking
away their right to free speech and free press.
What I don't get is why this is such a big deal in the first
place. The world would be a much nicer place if everyone
followed the "don't like, don't watch" rule >_>

I agree. And they're trying to do the whole negotiating thing,
but I don't see how "the freedom to vid what you want" is
negotiable. I think they should have politely asked for warnings
to be put in front of videos, but not try and remove them or
have them stopped entirely. I mean, I understand that if you see
a dog being beaten, you'd want to stop it. Or seeing someone
being abused or tricked, you'd want to stop it. But I think a
music video, especially a fan-made one, is one of the last
things that one needs to be concerned about.

I pretty much agree with you guys. To dwell deeper into what
Iris said; it's fiction. Why not put all that energy on trying
to stop real pedophiles or rapists? (I for one try to give as
much money as I can to Red Cross or similiar organisations. And
I still freaking love tabo-videos.)
