       The Dream Again
By: Lunaris Sentinel Date: September 27, 2010, 3:45 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A young man stood up after being in a sleep-filled, and
comfortable state of unconsciousness. His silvery-white eyes
blinked, they still being blurry from the previous dreamful
state, his head filled with the wonders of his dreamworld.
But where he awoke. Was not where he last thought he was. He
didn't know where was. He lay on the hard ground of a rocky
floor that seemed to be covered in smoke-like fog, and was at
the foot of a massive hill that had Greek-like buildings, and
torches near a gated entrance. His chrome eyes blinked in wonder
as he still-drowsily stumbled to the gate.
As soon as he made it to the cast-iron, ten-foot high gate a
booming voice echoed through the valley: "Cvet Sjaj, son of
Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest and Agriculture. You are welcome
here, at Mount Olympus!" The bellow nearly scared him out of his
skin as his jumped backwards, and landing flat on his ass.
"I-I'm where...?" He asked, partially to himself, but mostly to
the person that made the proclamation. As soon as he stood back
up and walked to the gates in an attempt to walk through them,
he suddenly found himself in his own bed. The drapery on the
posts above his queen-sized bed hung undisturbed, and dark. The
whole room inky-black save from the glowing of a nearby
nightlight that resembled a breaching whale. It flickered
       slightly.
He laid his head back down in an attempt to fall back to sleep.
This was going to be another restless night.
