       Cvet Sjaj
By: Lunaris Sentinel Date: September 27, 2010, 3:26 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Name: Cvet Sjaj (Suh-vet Suh-jaahj)
Age: 16, his birthday is four days away in the story
       Gender: Male
       Sexual Orientation: Gay
Personality: He's a very gentle, and kind soul. And has such
nimble and kind fingers, as if everything is a brittle substance
that will shatter under the slightest touch. Despite his
kindness, he's very quiet, and detached from reality, which
repels most people that attempt conversation.
He's a very deep thinker, and can think of one detail, or story,
and pick it apart, explaining the intentions of every word or
phrase. He tends think to deeply about things and people, which
repels them even more. Because of the repel of people, this
lowered his social knowledge, and led to his fear of crowds,
being the centre of attention and of course, making his socially
       awkward.
A nature-lover, and a devout Vegan, he refuses to wear
animal-produced clothing and products, and eat animal-based
foods (though has been known to eat eggs on occasion). His
favorite foods will most likely have to be chocolate. He has
liked it ever since he can remember--and he remembers quite a
bit of his past. Foods he dislikes; not a lot, as he isn't much
of a picky eater; except the animal-products of course.
He has incredible photographic memory, and can remember quite
intricate details that can have happened long ago. Be in last
week, last month, or even three years ago. He can recite exact
words of something a person said that didn't have anything to do
with him, or even something that happened years before his own
       birth.
He is very intelligent, young man, and even knows things that
were never taught to him. He always had a higher understanding
of things; nature, science, people, society. Everything.
Whenever one would look into his eyes--not that quick, look, and
glance--I mean, really look into them, deep into his eyes, as if
you were trying to look into his soul. You can always, no matter
who you are, can see a scared, little child with intense,
emotional needs; even when the silvery pools give the impression
       of a happy, light-hearted boy.
He was always one that could easily show emotions; be they
anger, sadness, joy, love, compassion, sympathy. He always had
an easier capability of showing his emotions. Some found it
weird, others needy, and others; thought that he was just a lost
boy didn't know the basic, emotional controls.
He is also very empathetic. He always seemed to be able to sense
one's emotions by merely looking at their facial expressions,
and body language. He could tell someone was sad by his or her
body language alone, and see someone was thinking heavily on
something by mere facial expressions. He is also a very talents
micro-expression analyst, as he can spot the most minuscule of
details on someone's face, and tell that they were lying about
something or by if they truly did what they claim to have done.
He always had a horrible fear of emotional rejection. Such as
being turned down by your crush, or being broken up with by a
significant other. And, due to this fear, he always rejected
people--be they girls or boys--that revealed that they watched
him from afar, and "liked" him. He also had a fear of the
dark--noturnaphobia--and the feeling was much deeper than the
physical darkness, but because it gave him a feeling of
loneliness, a feeling of never being able to escape that
never-ending sea of emotional seclusion; because of this fear,
he would frequently cry when alone in the dark.
History: Born on March 24, 1993, that is actually not even the
year of his conception, or even that century, as a matter of
fact. His father isn't even alive anymore. Cvet's year of
conception is actually thousands of years ago: in 500 BC, during
the time of the Greek worshipers, and the time where the Greek
       Deities' power was greatest.
His father was actually lowly farmer, which was a heavy
worshiper of the Goddess, Demeter. He relied upon his belief,
and worship of her to make all of his harvests successful, which
happened very rarely. So, on the night of the harvest moon, he
burned nearly an acre worth of crops, and sacrificed three cows,
and called upon her, demanding if that was enough for her
tastes. When she did not answer with some sort of sign, he just
gave up hope, and then returned to the comfort of his home.
But what he didn't know was that she actually heard his demand,
and replied. Upon leaving his house to harvest his crops the
next morning, he arrived for an amazing surprise: all 20 acres
of his farm had sprouted an amazing bounty that was enough to
feed the entirety of the village. He fell to his knees and
apologized for doubting her power, and kissed the ground in the
most solemn thanks to her majesty.
Two weeks later, he had actually, out of pure generosity and
thankfulness to Demeter; he shared the richness of his harvest
to the entire village. He was praised as a god because the town
was suffering from hunger, and he saved them all. This pureness
of heart deserved recognition, and so, Demeter came to Earth
       from Mount Olympus.
Around a week later, Cvet's father, on his way to help a local
grape vineyard owner harvest his own bounty, he discovered a
young woman--Demeter in disguise--wandering about the vineyard,
with an incredibly confused look on her face. She kept pacing
and muttering something about being lost under her breath. He
approached her, and asked her issue, Demeter, being a goddess,
came up with the most believable and elaborate lie available.
And, using her godly charm, she seduced him, and took him to a
secluded, and abandoned barn. And there, they made sweet,
passionate love--which was actually true as she lifted the spell
on him, and revealed her identity, and said, if he produced a
child to her and if he shared it with the village once more, she
would increase his harvest by 150 percent, and he agreed
       whole-heartedly.
Over 1500 years later, Demeter came to Earth once more, after
the death of Cvet's father--which she watched over 'til the end
of his days as a wealthy and one of the most generous men of
this world--as a pregnant mother in labor. Catching a ride from
a local cab driver in Patras, Greece, and she was rushed to the
hospital. She was asked no questions, and she successfully gave
birth to a healthy baby boy, Cvet.
She then vanished without a trace. Everyone was confused, but
the hospital then gave him over to a local orphanage. Not the
most well known or best, but a good enough orphanage to take
       care of the young infant.
As the years went by, Cvet grew up, and showed to be a
good-hearted child that wasn't the most social of children, but
that didn't stop him from being adopted. He was taken by a
wealthy, traveling family from the bustling capital city of
Athens. They found his gentle nature to be wonderful, as they
were a kind childless husband and wife. After the interview,
7-year-old Cvet became a happy child of the Sjaj family.
He later found that his mother was a famous Botanist--her love
of plants rubbed off on him partially--and his father was the
museum curator to National Archaeological Museum of Athens; a
curator that happened to major in ancient Greek writing. This
boosted Cvet's self-pride, and self-esteem, and he grew to adore
his parents and their professions very much.
Recently, when Cvet was 14-years-of-age, his father had been
trying to decipher a tablet at the museum he curates, and
decided to bring Cvet along with him this time. Cvet saw the
Tablet and thought it was beautiful. Sure, it was only a large,
stone, gray tablet on the wall of the museum as a display; his
couldn't help but reach out and touch it. And then, as soon as
he touched it, he felt a slight tingling in his arm that soon
ran through the rest of his body, making him instantly retract
       his hand.
He then requested to be taken home, and so his father confusedly
agreed, and had one of his limo-drivers take Cvet home. After
going home, he went straight to his bedroom, a massive room that
looked like a suite of a 5-star hotel. Falling onto his bed, he
felt a moderate breeze blow from his window, and then he saw,
before him, a woman. A woman he had not seen once in his life.
She was tall, had shoulder-length light brown, curly hair, and a
small tiara atop her head with an emerald encrusted into it. She
was wearing a gorgeous gown that looked like something from the
ancient times. He was terribly confused.
She walked forward, and he squeaked in horror at this mystery
woman. She then spoke in a creepily soothing voice that calmed
his nerves, and relaxed his body. He sat down slowly. She then
spoke to him again, in that same, eerily calm, and soothing
voice, introducing herself as Demeter. He had heard that name,
Demeter. She was an ancient Goddess in Greek mythology. She was
said to be the Goddess of the Harvest and Agriculture.
He stared at her with curiosity. She then said another thing, a
thing that was so confusing he still questions it today; she
told him that he was her son. That he, was the son of a Goddess.
She then began a long explanation of that his father was
actually from centuries ago, and that she when she met him, she
knew instantly that that man was the most kind-hearted being
alive, she revealed so many things, it was almost too much for a
14-year-old's mind to comprehend. He was shocked, and without
another word, and before he could utter a word, she vanished.
Now, three years later, he had come to believe what Demeter had
said, and embraced that he was the son of a deity, that he was a
Demigod. He also discovered--though accidentally while nearly
dying by falling off the side of a cliff on Mount Olympus, a
tree sprouted instantly from the side, and caught him--that he
had the conscious and subconscious ability to manipulate
       plant-life.
He is still in school, and is a senior at a private institute in
Athens, planning on becoming a Botanist in collage. He told his
parents of his discovery. It took them nearly six months to
believe him, but, after a while, they grew to accept this, and
told him even though he wasn't their flesh and blood, they would
       love him like it anyway.
       Appearance:

Cvet was an attractive young man with near-white blonde hair
that feel just blow his shoulder and his bangs coming a little
below his eyebrows. His hair is also near-perfect straight, and
is unusually soft, as he is seen petting, or running his fingers
through his golden locks (he will even sometimes offer others to
pet his hair to test its softness). He will also sometimes tie
the side bangs into loose braids.
He had fair and beautifully flawless skin that was a perfect
shade of pale peach, giving him an almost albino look. He had
white-silver eyes that almost seemed to glow gold in the
sunlight. They were slightly almond-shaped, giving him a warm,
and welcoming look to him. His eyes are occasionally droopy
giving him, not a sleepy look, but a calm, and light-hearted
look; as if everything in the world was fine.
His attire was rather simple, consisting of mostly white. He top
was a long sleeved sweated that the sleeves went halfway down
his hands, and his pants were a pair of grayish-white denim
skinny-jeans that showed off his well-toned legs. He shoes were
also simple, being a pair of silvery-gray slip on shoes. He had
a black-chrome ring on his right index finger.
Piercings: Ears pierced twice each; on his earlobes having
small, dangling blue pendants, and the second on his ear were
       small rubies.
Divine Parent: Demeter, Goddess of the Harvest, and Agriculture
Powers: His mother, Demeter, her blood gave him moreover
psychic, not magical, ability to control the chloropowers within
plant-like organisms and bend them to his will, whether being
extreme growing, strength, etc, from his relation to Demeterian
       society.
He also has the slight ability to merge with plants. Either with
a flower by changing the center of the flower to his own eye to
aid in spying, replacing a tree branch with his own arm to grab
something nearby. He can also borrow features of a plant to his
own, such as the bark of a tree in defense, colors of a forest
in camouflage, the weight and density of a leaf to aid in quick
getaways, the roots of a tree to prevent being moved away. He
can also merge into a plant to hide from others, such as a tree
       or the grass.
