Also,you need a good idea,you just cant write down a dumb story

Yeah,I wanna be a good writer and I love writing novels,but I
suck at it most of the time and mine are too childish and
cartoonish.

Childish can be okay, depending on what audience your writing
for.
Tips for writing good:
Make sure to fully develop your ideas and sentence structure,
this helps you fully express yourself in the piece and also
allows the reader to grasp the point for the story.
Don't rush: rushing is one of the biggest reasons why people end
up not writing a good story, if you rush there is no possible
way that you put too much effort into it, making it a poor
writing.
My tip for what ever you do, be patient, sometimes it is hard to
express what you want to say right away, don't force it out, let
it come naturally.

I guess I rush sometimes,sometimes Ill just write down the story
plot on a piece of paper,then plan how many pages each chapter
will be,then make the summmary fit into the chaoters,but its
cartoonish in the way that I add all these super human
powers,like from an old fashioned technology lacking society,I
could add a super power that only technology could do and make
my characters seem to weird at times.
