*leans back in chair* *we're on a video call*
I don't think I've ever been happier to be in the middle of
nowhere. Fxck All Nowhere Malayasia has seen basically no
effect. I take care if I have to drive into the nearest village
but that's just me being overly cautious. I feel like it's
literally literally a world away from what you're dealing with.
I'm in the damn jungle.

*rubs eyes under glasses* My hands are so dry, they hurt now. I
sanitize my hands so much. And wash my hands. And I’m wearing 2
masks now when I have to go out. My boss isn’t keen on making us
work outside of our apartments right now. I’m glad you’re not
seeing how bad it is. I think it might be easier to deal with.
It’s...terrifying.

Jesus. There was no way I was going to be able to make it back
home when the restrictions started dropping. We found these
bungalows for rent in the jungle and we're just been holed up
here. Luckily we were able to get a satellite connection.

That’s amazing! You are so lucky. I mean, this is only going to
last maybe a few weeks or a month or 2? I’ve resorted to cooking
and baking bread. I can only take so much take out and besides,
how in the fxck am I sure no one with the virus has breathed on
it? Fxck man.

I feel isolated as all hell but maybe you're right. I was in a
flux after my last job ended badly and I thought I'd get home
but maybe this was actually for the best-I think
*in the background* *Nate*: Sam was out wandering and he found a
path to a beach! Ya wanna go the beach? He said the water looks
like Gatorade. Sully's gonna load up the grill in the 4x4 and
drag it out there and we're gonna cook. We got that rum I
bartered off that weird guy, first one to pass out in the sand
loses.

*raises eyebrow* One of your coworkers? I mean, anything to pass
the time, really. *suddenly* Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that
I get to keep in contact with one of the possible leads in my
company’s next project. So far, it’s been typical, but they’re
isolated currently.

Sorry. Co-worker, yeah.... Oh really? Are you just waiting for
the final decisions from the network to make sure casting and
locations are all squared away? Do you think it's going to be
delayed that long? I mean if you all isolate in a bubble with
testing you should be ok.
----I'm thinking I was over here working as a like a historical
liaison for archeologists or something and it was legit then it
went south and that's how I got hooked up with people who also
seek out old relics and treasure n' crap but kind of for their
own gain :D :P "

*shrugs* I mean, my boss said the network has to go through so
much paperwork to even meet with the leads. I’m sure once it’s
figured out how to go about it, it will be fine. I think the
biggest issue will be getting accurate rapid tests. *sighs* It’s
gonna be a fxcking nightmare. I’m already dreading what’s to
come.
—-I’m gonna be “sent” to stay with Pedge once the cases
increase. I will mention it to my boss and she will tell me to
make things work because I’d even say he sounded depressed.—-

Yeah I imagine it's a logistical nightmare. I'm sorry I can't be
home. I tried but we were so remote and there were issues
already forming on the job. I'm sorry that it sounds like I'm
off having a party, I promise I'm not being oblivious. We watch
the news consistently. I know you're committed to work and you
need to keep working but....just know that....one of
my...co-workers...can fly a plane and it wouldn't take much for
him to charter a small plane and come get you if I asked.
