*Mark* No I'm not alright. I just had to lie to that poor woman.
I have no intention of calling her. Tod was just standing there
acting like parent who's trying to force their child to eat
vegetables. Once he finally walked away I told her I just got
out of a relationship and that Tod must have neglected to tell
her that. I lied to a perfectly nice woman's face.

trying to set up a double date? I expected Tod coming over to
yell or Peter coming over to tell me to face reality, not you
being sincere but awkwardly avoiding the elephant in the room.

*Mark* Sorry. I shouldn't complain about not getting a lecture.
We all know Peter does it every chance he gets. Tod's back off
tomorrow, he'll be chilled out by the time his stag night comes
at the end of the week....I just need him off my back tonight.
Just tell everyone I couldn't do this at work, tell them I was
overwhelmed. Tod may at least buy that....I just can't...I need
to do things on my own time you know? ....The wedding will make
things easier, I think. ----ok dude---

*Bard* He's sorry. And as much as he appreciates everything, he
can't do it here. It's his work. And he'd rather have the terms
be his own, not someone else's doing, ya know?
*Jack* Absolutely. *looks at Tod* You got that, mate?
*Judy* I hope so. I feel terrible this had to happen here.
Imagine it was at your job, Tod. How mad would you be?
And he doesn't look that mad, either. He looks relieved.

When I went over there you were talking about these cottages in
Provence! Like yeah let's the 4 of us take a couples vacation to
France I know you guys just met but whatever. You were way out
of line.
