I already listend to music like the Dubliners.(which I got from
my parents) when I was 12 I started listening to punk.
Quicky I found dropkick Murphys a perfect mix.

Saw them at a festival (Beautiful Days/Bearded Theory? Would
have to look at the back of the t-shirts to be sure LOL).
Good gig, certainly got the crowd going :)

Wife and me still want to see them live.
But tickets here are expensive and we don't have a big budget.

Tickets are expensive here too, that is why I do festivals.
around £150.00 for an adult ticket, £30.00 for my campervan and
more bands than you can shake a big stick at!!
BTW have you tried The Levellers? May be up your street.
