       Indeed it is. I kept using the tactic of reloading often as
       described in the first post but I added the Sleight of Hand
       perk, and I played only 2 more short matches to complete the
       challenge.

       Well... It worked for me. I completed these Stripes camo
       challenges for all shotguns using Sleight of Hand and reloading
       (pressing X) quite often. I am still wondering about how short
       "shortly" is. Maybe it is 2 or 3 seconds.

       Confirmed. Melee kills count towards weapon challenges as if
       they had been shot kills. I completed the Skulls camo challenge
       (3 kills without dying) for the 725 shotgun by getting many
       melee kills while the weapon was being reloaded. First, I
       equipped the Breacher Device Muzzle in order to enable 1-hit
       melee kills. I then "melee'd" close enemies after getting kills
       with the 2 shots you get per load. I got the 21 times I was
       short in about 8 matches. I did not use the Sleight of Hand
       perk. All matches were in Shipment.

       Mission accomplished. I unlocked the platinum camos for the
       shotguns before Shipment 24/7 is removed on Tuesday, following
       the tips I posted in this thread.

       The big irony is that I don't see myself using shotguns again
       unless is to complete challenges.  :) The Damascus camos look
       good but they seem long long far away.  :o

       Yes, many have noted Platinum is underwhelming. Just looks like
       shiny black. Besides there are some weapons that can be
       purchased (or unlocked w/ battle pass) that have better camos
       than Platinum.
       PS: [member=3]Gordontonio[/member] have you looked into
       unlocking the Judgment (725) shotty? It is very beefy looking
       with gold camo on it.. heck even black looks awesome. I believe
       it is the “Well Equipped” Mission.. its a pain in the butt (esp.
       the 25 throwing knife kills, the 25 thermite kills etc..) but
       worth it in my opinion.
