       Kills shortly after reloading

       I have been doing camo challenges for all my SMGs and a few ARs
       for the last week. One of these challenges barely registering
       any progress is the one where you have to get kills shortly
       after reloading, more so when the weapon has a magazine with
       large capacity. I had an idea and it seems to be working,
       although the sample size is quite small. The procedure I used is
       simple: Shoot after spawning, press then X and if you kill
       someone quickly enough then it counts for the challenge. If many
       seconds pass since your last kill press X again and repeat. I
       tried this only 2 times and I got 4 and 3 tracked kills in every
       match, respectively. Please try it and report back if it works
       for you.
       Notes:

       [li]You have to fire a few shots so the X button works. The
       weapon does not reload until you have fired a few shots, at
       least in my Xbox.[/li]
       [li]I think PS4 players have to press SQUARE to reload a weapon.
       I have no idea what you have to press in PC.[/li]

       what it is called in this one) as a perk.

       You're right! Sleight of Hand is the name of the perk. I equip
       it in Shotguns, Marsksmen and Snipers but I hadn't thought about
       using it in SMGs and ARs.

       Indeed it is. I kept using the tactic of reloading often as
       described in the first post but I added the Sleight of Hand
       perk, and I played only 2 more short matches to complete the
       challenge.
       Note: Short matches= Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed.

       You have short TDM matches? :o Must be playing on Shipment.
       I pretty much always have SoH on all my weapons, except snipers.
       The flinch on MW is insane on here for snipers, so I go with
       focus. Just curious, but what do you use as a perk on your SMG
       and AR setups?

       You nailed it. TDM matches in other maps take longer, in big
       part due to the lack of mobility (other words for campfest) I
       think.
       I do not use weapon perks in my regular SMG and AR setups. I
       used Fast Melee or FMJ when I was levelling them up. I am using
       Sleight of Hand now while doing the camo challenges.
       The regular perks in my main loadout currently are Double Time,
       HardKill and Shrapnel. My loadout for Shoot House is Cold
       Blooded, HardLine, and Amped. My loadout for bigger maps (no
       Shipment, no Shoot House) is Cold Blooded, Ghost and Amped. The
       loadout for Hardpoint/Headquarters match has EOD, HardKill and
       Battle Hardened.

       Is swapping weapons considered a reload? My handgun got several
       kills for these challenges after I ran out of ammo and swapped
       quickly to my handgun in a string of matches after having
       switched my primary weapon.

       Thats a good question... (is swapping to pistol considered a
       “kill shortly after reloading”)
       Regarding the camo challenge, this is one I would consider
       passive— meaning it will happen on its own eventually, but to
       try to think about this during combat is just too much for me..
       I also let longshots accumulate on their own, unless/until I
       only need 10 or less, then I may put on a diff barrel or slugs
       (for shotguns) to get them completed.
       If you figure you will play this game for a year (until the next
       CoD) then there is really no rush to ‘force’ camo unlocks. I
       tend to focus on the ones I can control like mounted kills.

       Agreed. That is what I have been doing with AR and SMGs. The
       only camo challenge left for the ones that I want to get gold
       for is the one for long shots.
