Well, this site finally shows up in a search, but I think
keywords need to be added.
Some sites use keywords in white font against a white background
so they are not seen except by web crawlers.
Question: how is this site paid for? Who pays for it? I dont see
any ads, and there is no free lunch it seems.
Do we need to donate ocassionally?
Do we need to buy some ads to be placed on CoD pages etc?
Just some random thoughts/questions since “Newest member:
Stabbotage” has been at the bottom of the front page for a week.
:)

The forum itself is free. I purchased the domain name so we
could link to it rather than the free forum link. I don't see
ads either although they sell ad free packages so no idea there.
I will fight tooth and nail to avoid members having to offer
donations, but it may be in the future if the site grows and
maybe moves to a better platform that requires yearly
subscription or feels that purchasing upgrades to this one it
may be a thing. If it is a small amount I would be willing to
cover it but I would put it to a forum vote whether it was
thought necessary before I would buy anything.
Me and Gordontonio are currently looking into a way to make us
more high profile on Google but I am crazy busy at the moment
and just haven't had time to make it happen.

I think we might start seeing ads after the forum has been up
for a month... :( Hopefully I am wrong...

I guess it depends on what the ads are like.
If they are just small blocks in the header bar as with a
dartfrog forum I was admin on I can live with that, but if they
are intrusive we may have to look into tings further.

Chrome users could use AdBlock. We'll cross that bridge when we
reach it.

Yeah, I use it on IE as well.
