So, anyone care to complain about the networking for Call of
Duty yet ;D I think I could post it Google sheets "research"
that shows the address of the dedicated servers I was getting
put on without worrying about ATVI censoring me.
Sorry, I wanted to be the first to complain about networking in
       CoD!

       I reported you ;). Joking.
Btw, I got that message you sent me on that other forum. I
already have a list of my own ip addresses 8)
If that's what you were talking about. I'll admit I just skimmed
it and didn't open the message. I was in the middle of something
       atm.

I´m going to bed in a few minutes, it turned midnight here. But
       I have to answer. ;D
I really thought after WW2 and BO4 it can get worse network
like, but Modern Warfare takes the whole thing to a new level,
at least for my gaming experience. I´m lagging horrible in 99%
of the games I have. Seeing mygamertagsucks sheets just proofs
of how bad their netcode + SBMM is.

This is a very interesting problem to troubleshoot. The netcode
might be an issue, true. I understand for net code the actual
programming code involving networking (sockets, ports and ll
that jazz). Please correct me if I am wrong. Not being able to
see the code does not let me know for sure. However, I live in a
part of Canada where the access to Internet is not as good as it
is in Vancouver and even so I have experienced networking issues
only a couple of times: I was kicked out once from a match mid
skirmish because the connection to the server was lost; the
second time I experienced some rubber banding that made the
matches interesting to say the least. Where I am going is that
it might a data filtering or data buffering problem that does
not happen directly at your ISP or at the Activision servers.
Your packets might be getting delayed by some device depending
on the path your packets are being sent through. If the netcode
is not optimal and it does not take possible data delivery
delays into consideration then that is what it might be
affecting your gaming experience. This is the reason why I have
not played Anthem in weeks. Constant disconnections and crashes
allegedly caused by poor network programming.

I don't have connection problems with modern Warfare.
I thought no game no connection problems

       I have to do it.
       Have you got UPnP enabled?
       Have you port forwarded?
       www.portforward.com can help
       Wired connection?
       Nothing else using bandwidth?

This is not about networking but it is still related to
Activision's lacklustre support. I opened a support ticket on
Sunday, I haven't heard anything back even the automatic reply
said that an email had been sent to me and I would be contacted
       in 24 hours. ??? ::) SMH

Hahaha, no flamesuit needed my friend. I know it's all in fun.
As far as data buffering, I have optimized my connection when
gaming, and receive a DSLreports grade of A+ for BufferBloat.
When I disable BufferBloat, and try to play, I receive an F
grade for BufferBloat. I always run my DSLreports test from my
hardwired PS4, and always get an A+ when I set the BufferBloat
upstream and downstream to 70/70%. Then I go into my QoS and set
my PS4 upstream bandwidth to 90%, or 7.41mbps. My Downstream
speeds are usually about 85%, or 115mbps.
While the game plays fine, for me, (I've never even received the
packet burst icon, but have mysteriously "lost connection to the
Host) I do notice other players skipping around, rubber banding,
running in place, etc, etc. This makes it impossible to kill
them even when you're unloading an entire clip in them.
On the contrary, if I choke my PS4 bandwidth to around 2mbps up,
and leave the downstream connection at it's preset value, I can
       not kill, or be killed.
I have seen absolutely no value in Port forwording, enabling
UPnP, or anything else suggested by Activision. What I have
noticed is that if I leave those ports forwarded and open, I get
a ton of "Connected to LAN (insert IP address here:80) I'm
always getting port 80 and port 3074 scanned by random websites.
Sometimes, they scan unregistered ports in the 5000+ numbering
scheme. I wonder if having the open ports contributes to any of
       the problems I occasionally have.
Horrorman, have you tried unforwarding your ports and disabling
UPnP? For those who don't know, Horrorman and I tried to figure
out his connection issues, and he's got a clean line and a low
ping from his connection to mine, yet he truly can not get into
any Activision game for some reason. I think the ping from
Indiana to Germany was only around 42ms, but his connection to
his local server was 1800ms. That makes the game utterly
       unplayable.

If your ping is so low but your connection to your local server
is so high then the problem leans towards packet filtering or a
       routing issue.

Funny thing I only have this problem with CoD games. Battlefield
+ Titanfall 2 are running smooth with no "lag". Ping to
       Battlefield servers is around 18ms - 25ms.
