2XP Pattern in January

Users not in America or who are not fans of the NFL might not
get this post at first. There was a 2XP event during every
weekend this month when the NFL had meaningful games. I mean
Playoffs, the Pro Bowl is not worth watching. I had to choose
between watching the NFL Playoffs or getting 2XP in Modern
Warfare. There was no 2XP this past weekend when the Pro Bowl
was played. My guess prediction is that there is going to be a
2XP event this week since the Super Bowl is played on Sunday.
Although true, there are no more weekends left in January. It is
gonna be the first weekend of February.

I just wish, when you were using a 2XP bonus coupon, they would
start and stop the bonus XP clock when the match starts and
stops. It kills me to use a 2XP bonus coupon and sit there
watching it drain away while I'm waiting to find a match. Or if
I want to take a few minutes and tweak a load out or just go
pee. The clock keeps ticking...
I did a test a few nights ago and used a 30 minute 2XP coupon.
I used the stopwatch on my phone and started it when the match
started and stopped it when it ended. In the end I had gotten
only 12 actual minutes of 2XP. Stupid...
This is why I look forward to 2XP weekends (especially weapon
xp). I can go take a piss and not piss away my 2XP at the same
time!

Serious note. Always funny that a lot of (gaming) companies nuse
typical American things like of the rest of the world is
America to.

You are in the Netherlands, I was born and raised in Mexico. All
people from the UK should understand this post too. We can
understand that calling this game football is WRONG, a misnomer,
since the foot touches the ball probably less than 10% of plays.
Football is the one where Marco Van Basten and Hugo Sanchez
scored 100% of their goals using their feet, and played the ball
with their feet 100% of the time! That is football. Emphasis on
the FOOT part. It is not tossball, throwball, passball, or
eggball!

Not english native speaking people confound Football and Soccer.
Many european people call Football Football, thinking its "our"
european called Football, but they mean Soccer. ;D
Puh...because they dont know it any better. ::)

Americans feet are very similar to their hands due to inbreeding
of the Pilgrims so they don't understand the difference
(apologies for any offence in advance) :)

There was something in the back of my mind bugging me about the
relation between 2XP and 2WXP. I think it finally made sense
last night while playing. 2XP is for ranking up faster and 2WXP
is for levelling weapons up faster. 2XP seems to produce the
same effect than 2WXP on a non-maxed-out weapon though. Why? In
my experience (rookie steps but experience nonetheless), a
weapon levels up with the XP you get during a match using that
weapon. So if the weapon still has room to level up then it will
increase twice as fast instead of increasing just by single
steps using regular XP!

So, when a 2XP event comes around please pick a weapon you have
not levelled up to its max and try this theory. The increase
will be more noticeable if you use the same weapon as many times
as possible. I will give this a try with the Crossbow when the
next 2XP weekend comes around.

Biggest complaint right here. a 45 minute weapon XP coupon is
hit or miss. One time I got 30 minutes from it, the next time i
got 12 minutes because the match making service sucks. I dont
have the battle pass either so i use what is given to me from
either the free tiers of the BP or mission rewards. Activision
would have a point for them if they stopped the timer, but
seeing as how they want people to buy more than what they use
it'll be another example of why Activision is complete shit.
Im hoping they do SOMETHING for the superbowl. God I hope they
do. I hate how slow progression is after a certain level. Im not
gonna say Im god of CoD nor am I in the negatives. Its just
asinine to try to get levels for the camos. In fact they need to
change that entire system.
