       Aim in Control

       I got Control this week since it is on sale. I noticed something
       that I had not seen before in third person shooter games. The
       position of the reticle can be changed by pressing a key in the
       D-pad.  It really disoriented me when it happened. I didn't know
       where I was shooting at. Let's have in mind that I am not a
       seasoned video games player. My questions are: What is the
       purpose of having the reticle NOT positioned at the centre of
       the screen? Are there other TPS games where this happens?
