       Slug rounds

What do slug rounds do in shotguns? My understanding is that
they are supposedly more powerful and damaging. However, I feel
my shotgun a lot weaker if I equip these rounds. :o What am I
       missing?

Slug is one round that you need to hit.
Normal shotgun shells has x amount of pellets. And just a few of
them need to hit. And those have a bigger spread.
In cqb with normal shells you don't have to be very accurate.
       With slugs you have.

       Yes, what dtuch said.
Add to that slugs are a solid “bullet” — so picture a musket
ball — and it is easy to see why some players have equipped 725
w/ a longrange sniper scope. It is a very high caliber round at
medium ranges—perhaps even out to 100 yds with the hardcast
       slugs.

I should stick to the regular rounds then since my accuracy is
nothing to write home about. ;D
       Thanks for the information.
