Youtuber hate
By: RainbowDash Date: March 6, 2020, 1:24 am
---------------------------------------------------------
I was sitting in my room, marinating in my own hatred as I
scrolled my youtubes front page. I watch a lot of random videos
when im playing Call of Duty. Youtube then tells me to watch
some random channel i never heard of just because i watched
"Tranquilizer Dart in Slow Motion". I have found a few good
channels to sub to but ive found more horrible channels than
good. I also use Youtubes autoplay feature which sometimes plays
a video from a channel you dont know or do know and hate. You
cant block youtube channels, nor can you tell youtubes moronic
bots to stop recommending these channels to you. As such, ive
been forced to watch some videos by terrible youtubers or
companies like Buzzfeed.
Decided to make this topic because I want to know: what
youtubers/youtube channels do you hate and why?
They can even be channels you were once subbed to but as of now
hate because...
I have a plethora of youtube channels i regularly hate on that
fit this criteria, but will only list a few. DOnt wanna steal
someone elses answers.
1. Inside Gaming
The original premise:
Veteran Gaming Journalists from G4TV/TechTv review gaming news,
make memes, improv, and let those who miss Attack of the Show
or X-Play have a bit of nostalgia.
Why its shit: The veterans stepped down to do their own thing.
Half of the old staff went on to form their own youtube
channels. The other half stepped down to focus on another gaming
related channel. Those who stepped up to the plate are cringe.
Imagine your kid brother, whose first console was a PS2, starts
talking about early games as if they actually played them or was
even alive when the hype for those games to be dropped was new
CoD levels. Add the cringy fact that these new guys are taking
the old guys' persona's and bits and acting as if they
themselves made them. A lot of people are vocal about how much
they dont like the new guys and they new guys see this as an
"opportunity" to make fun of these people.
Im all for newer generations getting into gaming and journalism.
What pisses me off is when someone whose never held an N64
controller talks as if they played the N64 but can only name off
the really popular games. I know, this is gate keeping and no
matter what age you are you can like anything blah blah blah. I
like old cars, but i dont act like ive driven one or what is was
like seeing a 60's era Mustang on dealer lots.
2. Anything Rooster Teeth
The original premise: It actually started out as an achievement
hunting guide. Low budget, low quality, just raw game footage
and a few guys providing narration for each game they were
requested. One guy would do one video while another guy did a
seperate video. It soon grew once Micheal Jones was found.
Internet loved his rage video for some obscure xbox arcade game.
Soon it grew into a channel where they did Let's Play's. We had
a veteran named Geoff, a quirky brit named Gavin, rage machine
Micheal, edgelord Ray, The complacent dad Jack, and the asshole
psychopath Ryan.
Why its shit: Around 2015 or 2016, i cant remember, they began
adding new people in. By that time they had this cringy ass kid
named Jeremy who wasnt even a gamer. Dude flexed on the internet
by saying he was good at almost everything and tried going for
the typical asshole look. Im talking Max Payne 3 wannabe; it was
absolute cringe(i should point out, if you are rocking the bald
head longish beard and sunglasses look this isnt directed
towards you. You can pull it off because you dont act like a
cringey tryhard for money.). Then they introduced 6 new guys who
are, in my opinion and feel free to edit this away mods, cringy
soy boys. My main issue with them is they act like they are
these cool, beach bum cali guys who do nothing but smoke weed,
surf/skate, and act like a stereotype of California. I was born
and raised in California and only moved to Washington recently.
As such, I flex on people that I am what a true Cali person is(I
know thats cringey of me). As such it irks me when people say
the real cali is LA or San Diego.
3. Pewdiepie
Original Premise: Cute Swedish dude doing lets plays and being
himself.
Why its shit: LOL MEMES. Need I say more?

Hate.:
Driftör
Exclusive Ace
Ecolliespresso (to many commercials in his channel)
All those wanna be pros who are talking about CoD too positiv,
just because they get sponsored by ATVI. They all talking not
the truth about how the game really is.
Like.:
Gamestar (German side which is talking about all games...)
GGreloaded
Simonb1471
Eight Thoughts
402Thunder
Murdashow

Tip: I watch yoo-tube on my Hulu (television) and I never log
in. But they know what I like since they recommend things that I
have recently searched.
I do hate that they recommend things that I think are a trap to
get me on some govt watch list. For example, I watch some gun
videos, and then they will offer me "How to pick any lock" or
some other nonsense/honeypot trap.
The other annoyance, is that if I click on something just to see
how moronic it is (for instance, I clicked on a flat earth video
once, just to see how/why someone could believe this way) then
they assume I'm into that sort of thing and send me stuff on
paranormal activity or big foot conspiracies, etc... SO DAMN
ANNOYING because they do this for a couple weeks, when I clicked
on ONE FREAKING VIDEO.
Thank God I never sign in or else I would be getting weird
emails and other ads while surfing the internet. "Catch images
of sasquatch with our new thermal night vision camera".
*sigh*
I do hate fanboys.
Jackfrags gives good info, but he is definitely sold-out to
EA/DICE.
Levelcap gives good info, but while he is more apt to openly
complain about DICE/Battlefield, his voice is so annoying
because he tries to sound like a news anchor with his weird
waxing and waning pitch/tone. If you listen to one video of his
you will immediately know what I'm referring to.
Westie has good info, and a pleasant British accent, so I have
no issues with him.
I also hate yoo-tubers who have big egos and most likely reverse
boost to get n00b lobbies for their footage.
Don't like dr d1srespect (ego-maniac)
K0rean savage (everything is nukes) and I hate people that have
their hand over their mouth on thumbnail image for
click-bait--he and 'Swagg' are notorious for this. "This gun is
OP!" (Hand over mouth). Great way to get me to not watch a video
is have a thumbnail with their hand over mouth.
ItsNick has an annoying habit of saying "and stuff like that"
Mr. Fruit (too weird) and pretends to be commenting while
in-game, but it's obvious he adds commentary after he has
played.
ImMarksman is enjoyable to watch (huge ego, but keeps it in
check mostly -- except for "Carried my whole team again") He
mainly plays S&D so sometimes it gets boring watching him do the
same routes (swap to knife, go left, three steps, throw grenade,
throw smoke, swap to main, go through doors, etc..) But it is
interesting to see how he has each path down to a science and
seems to know the psychology of where enemy players should be.
Funny: ErasableNinja
Interesting: ProtectThisHouse "CoD Mythbusters"
Occasionally fun to watch: C0D plays of the week. ('top call of
duty plays' 'whiteboy7thst' and others...)
I could go on and on, but I think that's enough for now.

If they yell at me to smash that like button and subscribe, I
automatically hate them lol. I may still watch their content,
but that's a good way to get a thumbs down from me whether I
enjoyed the video or not. I really only watch help videos or
anything funny to me at the time. Sometimes I'll watch some
mysterious, or intriguing videos. I try staying away from video
game Youtubers, as I find the majority of them to be dbags. I
was subscribed (might still be) to a youtuber called Speedy kyr,
or something like that. He put up funny videos of him and his
crew playing various video games like CoD and GTA V. Haven't
watched any in a long time.

When I played Battlefield, I used to watch some (Irish?
Scotish?) dudes who would have so much fun trolling. For
instance, they would find a camper/sniper on the edge of a map,
and go up behind them, throw a couple Anti-tank mines near them
and shoot the mines with a pistol, or crawl up their rear-ends,
just silly stuff.
Battlefield Friends was a series that ran for several seasons
and has some very good episodes (language)

Correction (sorry)
Its not Levelcap who is the annoying one, he is quite good with
info.
The annoying one is flakfire gaming.

Annoying/hate: most big (activision backed) call of duty tubers.
For example jackfrags. Saying it's his honest opinion and after
that saying sponsored by activision. So not honest. As he gets
paid and that can and will influence his opinion.
Driftor. His in-depth videos can be nice. But earlier this week
he had a thumbnail that made it look he cracked the bunkers.
Well clickbait.
A lot of them use that.
And even when data and meta tell a weapon sucks. They say it's
good people will only use that and so people will start thinking
it's op. But it's overused.
Ggreloaded. Can be funny but he's saltier than the dead sea.
It'sagundam can be funny. Again salty against twitch third etc.
Channel I really like is:
The mighty jingles.
What I each often:
Outsidexbox. (D&d and challenges mostly)
Fishing video's.
-carl and Alex
- videos with Andy may. He is just funny
- Jon Arthur.
Antscanada (ant keeping nice to get head clear)
Serpadesign (making terrariums etc. Calm voice and I find it
interesting. Also good for clearing my head)
A couples of train modelling channels.
Prefer British or Aussie as they're more down to earth.
American can be over the top quicker.
Channels that I was on and off
- tested
- a couple about 3d printing
- hoonigan
- donut
- rotater Ron
- the pond guy/aqua scape

Well thanks to the big yoo-tube 'influencers' (influenzas)
Loadout Drops in Warzone just went up in price..
(from $6,000 to $8,500)
From patch notes March 27:
"Increased price of Loadout Drop within the Buy Station to
$8,500"

I saw that one coming. And I won't be surprised if more stuff
gets an increase in price.
As it's geared to real full squads now.
And the price increase is solo to. And in solo it's harder to
get the money.
Different playlist should have different price's
