About these forums

Sorry if this is the wrong place but Ive been thinking of ways
the admins/mods could polish this site up a bit.
Blogs
It might nice to hear whats on peoples minds besides Call of
Duty. Instead of making forum posts people could blog about
their time on CoD, or their jobs, or what have you.
Status Updates
A fun little widget to tell everyone "I just ate the biggest
waffle". Brings more of that community feel imo.
More Sub-Forums
Right now all I see is 'General' and off-topic being in the same
category. Dunno too much about this sites BTS but i would like
to see some more structure and forums. For example:
Off topic in its own forum while the sub forums could be like
Memes
forum games
Music
etc
While CoD itself could be structred as
Call of Duty games
-modern warfare 2019
-Modern Warfare 4
-Ghosts
etc.

Sounds good. Especially about the sub-forums + what belongs to
CoD. The Admins have the power to do this.

Some sub forums not needed at this moment.
More traffic more sub forums.

I might contribute to a blog if there was such a thing...
I would consider calling it
[glow=red,2,300]"so this happened one time..."[/glow]
And then maybe I would talk about an event that happened in the
past, like the time that First Sergeant had us pulling weeds by
hand in the motorpool.
Or the time I caught a red while wading in salt-flats and it
spooled me as the sun was going down--and I was running full
speed so that I didn't run out of line--in dark water that rose
to my neck. I landed it, an estimated 15 pounder. Too big to
keep (slot limits) but I wasn't keeping fish that night anyway.
I think I will go post a pic of one of my bmx bikes in the Other
hobbies

No band camp, but I was in choir during Jr High (they had a
class called “Art-Music-Speech” where it was split into
tri-mesters.. so 1/3 was Art class, then a couple months we had
choir, then speech.
Interesting to say the least.

I have deliberately left the COD General Discussion as is
because:
1) |This forum was spawned from the old MW forum, other titles
had their own forums,
2) I doubt whether older titles would generate many threads and
they can be easily accommodated in a single GD (I haven't seen a
thread on here about another title yet!). If it turns out that
people would like this then it is easy enough to do and
3) I considered making it this way but couldn't remember all
iterations, nor the order they came in so gave up LOL.

I will quite happily start a blog forum if you think you would
use it, you can start a thread in it under your username and
update as you wish.

Ah for sure. I just saw these features on a lot of other forums
I am a part of that arent as popular as Modern Warfare. I
thought it would also help increase traffic. I dont speak for
everyone, but for me the more aesthetic a forum is the more
likely Id make an account. Thats what drew me into making an
account for an Ed, Edd, and Eddy forums lol.
Blogs would be nice, but not needed if the admins dont feel
theyd be used. I was thinking it would be a nice way to engage
with people other than forum posts.
Cant have a status update about gunning down people without
triggering facebook even though its a game.
As for the whole forum games thing, I was thinking stuff thats
going on like "ban the user above you" or "last poster on this
thread is the winner".

Maybe all of this could be placed in a Members Only section?
Guests could not read this part of the forum and you would need
to make a certain amount of posts before you could get entry.
This system worked well on another forum I was admin on for the
classifieds section.
