Stuck in the update loop...

I haven't been on in a couple of days due to being out of power
from the Tornado that came thru Middle Tennessee Tuesday
morning. So I get my power back on yesterday and load up MW, do
the download, get the "download complete" hit X (PS4) and......
am told I need to download the update. So I do it again
and.....I'm told I need to download the update. This goes on
for another 17 attempts until I finally just shut it down and
went away. Anyone else seeing this? I saw on their Twitter
feed about the update others were complaining about it and being
told to clear their caches. So I did that...twice during the 17
attempts. Nothing...
I added my Tweet to the thread but have yet to get a response.
I have a feeling I may have to delete and reload the game. My
question is do I lose anything in the process other than my
option settings?

I forgot you were in Tennessee... hope all is well (besides the

Yep, we were about 5 miles from where the Tornado past us. We
actually live in Lebanon TN. It crossed about a Par 4 south of
my daughters house so they really got lucky with no damage.

Yes, Titans Fan. We had PSL's for years up until 2008 when the
economy tanked. Best memory...seeing The Music City Miracle!
I finally had to delete and reinstall the game. That solved it
for now. No response to my tweet on the IW twitter.

Whoa! Good old Frank Wycheck... I saw it on TV and my greatest
memory was that the sportscasters (Jim Nance?) were already
discussing who the Bills were going to face before the kickoff!
It was so funny listening to them eat crow pie. Then it was 30
minutes of replays and speculation on whether it was a forward
pass or not.
Glad you were able to reinstall without losing everything.

Yes, it was a forward pass when considering absolute distances.
:-D
Not so blatant or evident like in easy calls of the rule but
there is a slight increase in the position where the ball was
thrown and where it was received. Maybe it was not called
because such distance increase is smaller than the length of a
football thus it did not clear the imaginary line. Or the
referees just missed it.
Good to hear that [member=8]IM_OLD_SCHOOL[/member] was not
affected by the tornadoes.
