Infected mode

Do you play it?
I like it for a change of pace.
I do not like that they allow clans to join infected mode.
They often cheat by communicating to their buddies that are
already infected where the survivors are, which Increases the
score of those in the clan still surviving plus it increases the
score of the infected clan members because they get a free kill
on someone they would not have otherwise known where they are.
Three solutions could fix this:
Don’t allow clans/parties to join infected.. or (since that is
heavy-handed)
Don’t allow infected to communicate w/ survivors and vise-versa
(like on S&D) and other modes that limit comms
Don’t allow survivors to see other blue triangles of other
survivors. Yesterday, had I been on a clan with some infected
clan bros. I could have easily said in party-chat “hey, there
are 2 friendlies in the gunshop with me” (on Rammaza)
Other than that pesky issue, its fun and gives a lot of XP.
Soon they are bringing back infected Ground War which looks like
it was a lot of fun before they pulled it (it was giving 70,000
xp per match! So they decided to pull it and ‘fix’ that issue)
What are your strategies? Hide or stick next to other survivors?

I have never played it. I should give a try to all the different
modes I haven't played after completing the Battle Pass for this
season. I will try FFA hoping to be able to get some kills for
the Karma officer challenge (or whatever the name is where you
have to use an enemy's weapon to get kills).

This. I have found BS hiding spots away from other team mates
who crowd up on each other. ONE guy was running and gunning on
the survivors and died near me. I was hiding in the very corner
of a fairly large map(I believe it was the raid map). Because he
died near me, and i found a sound strategy of hiding away from
the team he targeted me which was major bullshit because had he
not died near me or have a map, he wouldnt have seen where i
was. Then here comes 3 tense minutes of JUST THIS GUY running to
me and dying until i was among the last 3 people.

Depends on the map. Usually if i know theres a few good camping
spots i lone wolf it. If its a map i barely play on like St.
Petersburg, i stick to whoever is top three on our teams
leaderboard and let THEM waste ammo. I usually make it through
rounds with full clips. Yes...I AM that guy.
