Running out of ammo

Even with the Bizon using its ammo attachment, I ran out of ammo
tonight completely for the first time since Modern Warfare was
launched. I was running around the map hoping to find a dropped
weapon to pick up after having used the 2 charges of my launcher
but I could not find anything. I was able to melee someone
before getting killed. The time to start using the Scavenger
perk might be approaching. The Munitions Box field upgrade could
have been helpful too I think.
What do you do when you run out of ammo like I did?

I’m always surprised when it happens to me.
But one odd thing I noticed is that the amount of ammo seems to
fluctuate.
When I was going for .50cal challenges, it seems like my first
life I would have less, but my next life I would have plenty in
reserves. Maybe its due to me running over the spot where I died
and hearing that “click” noise (like scavenger but not using
that perk)
Or maybe I’m just not paying attention, not sure.
One drawback of using .357 Akimbo is you go through ammo quickly
and I think they only give you 12 rounds in reserve which is one
reload, so in that way it acts like a nerf.
Another option besides the two you mentioned (scavenger and ammo
crate) is the “fully loaded” perk. This way you are not using
one of your 3 perk slots, but rather one of your 5 weapon perk
slots.
What are your 5 perks on your Bizon loadout? Let’s see if there
is one that can be swapped out for fully loaded.
Example: if you are using FMJ, while its kinda nice, its a
no-brainer to swap that w/ fully loaded.

My Bizon configuration does not use the perk attachment.

So if I had to swap something (for me) its an easy choice since
I dont feel like the bizon needs a scope at all. I use iron
sights for all SMGs since engagements are close, and usually
whomever fires fastest wins. Its very snappy with iron sights.
Next, if you need the scope because of vision issues, i would
lose the muzzle brake — most muzzle offerings are useless. Ghost
keeps you off minimap and honestly, I dont bother with ghost on
Shipment since everyone can see everyone, and every container
has ppl in it. But also because the Bizon has little recoil and
what little there is is very manageable.
So yeah, dump the muzzle brake and throw on fully loaded and
start downing VTOLs :)
