How to spectate? (CoD Caster)

This article says to make a private match and “become the CoD
Caster”

But I spent the past couple hours in a private match trying to
figure it out..
In the mode settings I set the spectator mode to “free fly”
But I still couldnt work it out.
I want to check out areas outside of maps for some cool images
for the “Random in game pic thread”
If I figure anything out I’ll update this thread/post
If you have any info, please let me know (XBOX)

I have been informed that when you create a custom game and set
spectator to free flight (in mode/game settings) then wen you
arrive at the screen where you select a loadout, back out from
there and select “Spectate”
Then you can fly! ;D
(I havent tested this yet, I had to leave for now but I will
confirm tomorrow)
