Had some pesky fun after a few drinks

So....
I had a few glasses of wine and decided "Who are all these
people on my xbox friends list?"
Some have obviously been on there for years, most likely from
previous games that we no longer play.
I wanted to join a 'friend' for some Modern Warfare, but I have
been hesitant the past few weeks because I can't remember who
some of these people are.
So last night, as I say, I got a little tipsy and just threw
caution to the wind and joined random parties.
A couple people were real turds, but others accepted my 'party
crashing' and let me play with them. I was in a group of 4 who
decided to join 1v1 rust (I didn't realize it would let us)
Perhaps it was a custom game now that I think of it because we
had to edit our loadouts from scratch. They all wanted to snipe,
so I, being terrible at it, plus being TOXIC decided to use
pistols half the time. They were good sports mostly...
On to the next group. "The guy says, hey you can't just drop in
unannounced" and I said " then why the hell are you on my
friend's list?" and so I rejoined their HC cyber attack game and
it put me on the other team where I went 5-0 and decimated them
before they started to own me, so I bounced and removed the guy
I joined from my 'friends list' as I found out he was not a
friend.
So on to the next one, and so on for about an hour. Some
remembered me from Battlefield and tolerated my presence, others
had no idea who I was.
Culling my list was fun, but a little sad too.
I still have 88 people, only 10 of whom I can actually remember.
If I was playing TDM and there was an open spot on my team and
an XBOX friend joined me, why would I care? I would actually
like it, obviously I only have people on my friends list I have
had a good time with and communicated with at some point.
It would never enter my mind to say "What are you doing joining
me?"
So to those types, I say bye-bye. :-*

I keep my friends list to a minimum and prune it regularly.
If I don't play with someone or chat to them for months then I
don't see any point to them being on the scroll list.
This has invariably led to them joining chat through others and
asking why I had unfriended them to be told i never play with
you and I rarely speak to you.
PSN is not Facebook, I do not judge my life's worth by the
length of my friend list LOL
