Rust Revisited

Ok now I've played many matches on Rust. At first I was liking
it, which I still do, but they need to adjust these damn spawns
ffs. I mean seriously it's not that small of a map. I spawn in
directly in front of an enemy who of course kills me imediatley,
then next spawn I'm in a safe spot across the map, the fuck? Why
wouldn't it have put me there the spawn before lol? Some of them
are laughably stupid where they decide to spawn you in. Don't
spawn me in right in front of an enemy. Don't spawn me in in the
exact spot I just died. Don't spawn me in along side 3 enemies.
Don't spawn me in the wasteland area out in the open by C flag.
Ugh.... :'(
Time for some tinfoil hat conspiracy. In order to allow certain
players to have "fun" and feel rewarded, they are shitting on
one team with crappy spawns to help the other team win.
Sometimes it does feel like it's purposely done. Yup, that's
gotta be it 🙃.

I have been only in a few matches in Rust when I can remember
feeling like you described. Luckily it doesn't happen to me
often. One of these matches made me realize that there is a
medal for getting killed fast, actually. I don't remember its
name but finding it out just made me burst out laugh.

If correct Rust was original for 1 Vs 1 or at least smaller
player numbers.
The only times I played rust in those times when with a buddy
and due to bad weather poor connection and we would play 1vs1
in a custom split screen game.

Spawns are horrible. They really have to rework this. But not
only on Rust, on all maps. It takes out the fun when you spawn
3-5 times in a row in, and there is already someone waiting
pre-aiming at you.
IMO Rust became really shit to play, the team who takes the
"tower" at first can cover all spawn points. People already
figured this, so...
Wasnt that bad on the original Rust map.

Launchers, Frag Grenades and EMP Drones do a good job for
clearing the top of the tower. Launchers and regular fire for
the lower levels. I have had a few kills using the Strela this
way. The hurdle is to find a good line of sight to shoot the
launcher from where you are not shot at easily while you are
aiming and reloading. Climbing the tower using the ladder in the
middle works when you can make it.

Sure, but when they cover all spawns, you have to be really
lucky to find the time to even start aiming on them before you
get shot a few times. ;D
