.357 Akimbo

With .38 Snakeshot the .357 Akimbo (dual-wield) is a very
powerful choice.
The Akimbo option automatically necessitates the removal of the
shoulder stock, so its not as if you have to make a tough choice
as to which perk to remove in order to apply Akimbo.
There are two drawbacks:
- It takes getting used to firing both triggers simultaneously
(but I got it worked out after a couple games)
- You run out of ammo fairly quickly. The same amount of ammo
they give for 1 is now split between the two)
To unlock Akimbo perk, it required 3 kills with .357 in 5
separate matches while using recon perk.
Each weapon has to be unlocked in a similar manner (meaning 3
kills in 5 matches but some may require using some other perk
besides recon)
Of course there is the option to buy Akimbo for all the pistols
(800cp?)
Anyways it is a very powerful choice which allows you to run
pretty fast. Might be fun on smallish maps like
Rust/Shipment/Shoothouse.
Enjoy!

Do you have to purchase anything to get Akimbo? I seen one
player dual wield pistols so far. Don't even know what they
were.
I'll take me some dual G18s from MW2 😃.

No purchase necessary, you just need to complete an objective,
but they are easy and not too tedious.
For the .357 I used it at the start of the rounds, once I got
three cheesy/campy kills with it, i switched to my main and
played normally until the next round, then once again whipped
out the .357 for my 3 kills.
Of course if you want to skip the objectives there is an option
to pay, which will then unlock dual wield Akimbo for
all sidearms.

Yeah I wanted to unlock Akimbo for .50 cal Desert Eagle (DEAGLE)
but alas you have to equip FMJ as a perk, and I dont have that
unlicked just yet.
