Steps in the Right Direction

I was finally able to play after downloading the update for a
bit more than 7 hours. ::) There are more green and brown
squares that do not go away, which hopefully will be eventually
fixed. Two new things I noticed and I like are:
- Commendations. I wanted this feature and posted about it in
the old forum.
- Weekly challenges. This reminds me of Anthem. :)

The Atlas store multiplayer map is great! I've only played it
twice and I love it.
Agreed on the commendations and challenges.

The weekly challenges are cool except they only seem to give XP,
and as we know, once you reach level cap of 155 xp becomes
useless. Would be cool if they added some calling
cards/charms/sprays like the daily challenges have.
But I agree it is a step in the right direction

That is a good idea. I am up for charms. Calling cards may be
appealing in rare occasions. I do not use sprays.

Weekly challenged is nice to have if you in need for XP, and you
have to grind for a little bit. I didnt managed to go to lvl 155
in season 2, just made it to 133. Not to mention in season 1
haha where I was lvl 53. LOL
Good to see now on how far we are in weapon challenges.
Played Atlas one time and it seems a good map.
Sometimes this game is so ridiculous, that you only can laugh
about how bad some games can start, or turn out. I just had a
TDM on Rust and I was laying down 2 claymores, I saw the guy
coming, started shooting at him, but oh nooooo, he walked trough
my 2 claymores, and 1 shoted me with his KAR. He didnt died...I
died...LOL

From yesterday's (February 11) patch notes:
*A note from the weapons team! The Solozero NVG Enhanced is
supposed to see through smoke, but a rendering bug broke this
one optic temporarily. We’ll have it fixed shortly!
Hopefully this bug fix addresses all thermal optics where I
could not see enemies through smoke, not just the Solozero NVG
Enhanced.

Whatever they did to the Solozero NVR screwed it up. The dark
green background is now some dark Teal color. Not impressed...

I'm using the Solozero NVG Enhanced as we speak, just to unlock
all of the reticles for the sites, and you're absolutely right.
The teal background makes it hard to know where you are even
looking half of the time.

They know about the green “breadcrumb” (as they call it) for
calling cards when there is no new calling card.
