Shipment", or "at least it's not Shipment." I thought
That was the statement I thought I was responding to, and I was
saying that I liked Shipment wAy more than Rust. I'm confused as
to how I made this mistake- I am just wide awake, and thought I
was on-point. Guess I need to slow down a bit.

That means you're disagreeing with me...you son of a.......haha,
just joking 😜. It's all good, I hated Shipment at first.
I've stopped skipping it recently, but if a 24/7 comes back for
it, I still won't play it.
A bunch of kills and a bunch of deaths seems pretty common on
Rust. Granted I've played maybe 10 matches, but that's what I
observed. Highest kills I've seen were in the 40s, followed by
30-40 deaths. Most kills I had was like high 30s, with I know
20+ deaths. I just run around with the AX and Bizon. Only times
I've gone on the pipes, or climbed the tower was when I had a
VTOL in the air for extra cover. Otherwise I stick around the
outsides, or if it's safe go under the tower. Seems like I'll
streak out, then just suck and die a bunch, or trade kill for a
few minutes. Idk, it was fun last night. I'll see if it's still
alright later.
(That last part was meant for your other topic)

Honestly, that's how I play as well. I like to work along the
outside of the map, so all of the action is in front of me. I
used to have no problem doing this, but for some reason, this
map is being an asshole to me. Just to check, I hopped on to
test my connection (getting put on the damn east coast servers
with 50ms ping again), and went 19-30.part of that is my setup.
I'm running the Solozero site to unlock the reticles, and some
goofy ass site on my mp7. I've unlocked blue dot for all of the
reflect sites, but the holographic, and thermal have been a real
problem for me.

The more times I play on Rust the more I am liking it. I play it
like you. I seldom climb the tower. When I do is to kill someone
shooting from there or, more often than not, get killed in the
attempt. ;D I like the size of this map. It seems a bit bigger
than Shipment, which can be one of the factors why it feels less
chaotic than Shipment does. I can run the whole perimeter
without feeling jaded like bigger maps make me feel easily.
Speaking of running around a map, I spent a while yesterday
checking the commendations we get and Nomad is among the ones I
have been awarded most. My initial reaction was: Whisky Tango
Foxtrot is that? My understanding of its description is that you
get it when you are the one who ran the longest during a match.
:)

I hate dying to a damn grenade lobbed into my spawn as soon as
the match starts. Oddly enough, the only time I go on any type
of a streak is once I'm up on that tower. If only I knew my way
around the thing. I have died so many times just falling off the
edge, while walking straight.

Patience young Skywalker :D ... Rome was not built in one
day... I should have had 5 kills or less in each of the first
half a dozen matches I played in Rust. It became available just
3 days ago.

[member=3]Gordontonio[/member] I know you play Rust a lot, and I
saw this and thought “wow, I always forget about trophy systems
in HQ and hardpoint” but its pretty smart, especially since Dead
Silence is not that useful on these smaller maps:
· “ (Field) Upgrade to a Trophy System.Rust is a small map
which means lethal and tactical tossed equipment will be
plentiful. Deploy a Trophy System around key objective areas and
consider equipping the Tune Up perk to get your Field Upgrade
faster. “

Yep. Thanks for the reminder. i have been using it actually
while ranking up. My field upgrades are: Munitions box on the
left button, trophy system on the right button I will not use
the Tune Up perk until I reach level 155 or there is a challenge
calling for its use. The interesting thing about this season is
that I like to get the related medal for its use when the match
ends. :)
