Support when New Season is Released

I am assuming that we will have to download at least an update
of a few GB this coming Tuesday when Season 2 is released. Based
on past and recent experiences, it is doubtful that the update
will be flawless. Guess many people will be opening tickets in
the Activision support site since the forums are gone. Let's see
what Tuesday brings...

This reminds me, I should get an external hard drive for my
orig. xb0x0ne
As it stands, I will be downloading ALL tuesday and playing on
Wednesday.
Does anyone know what time on Tuesday so I can make sure my
machine is on?
Thanks in advance for any info

I am not certain about this but if the pattern repeats then the
update will be available at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

I can tell you that Activision used to tell me that all updates
and patches (excluding hot-fixes) begin rolling out at 11:00AM
Pacific Time.

Well boys, I just got home with my 2TB external hardrive
(Seagate) and have started copying my games over to it.
I’m hoping this helps with loading times (time waiting to infil)
Lobby wait times (probably not) patch download times
(hopefully!)
And im hoping it fixes my video captures because my xbox storage
was at 99% and wen i would try to record the last 30 seconds it
would only grab 14 or 16 seconds.. and usually the wrong part.
It was $79.99 in case anyone is wondering.. the 4TB was $119
(only $30 more, I will probably kick myself in a couple years,
but by then I will have the newest xbox console that looks like
a PC tower)

Hey, welcome to the club, brother! I, too, have a Seagate 2TB
drive, but I hate what I'm about to tell you.
Aside from having more storage space, I didn't notice any
difference in how my PS4 performed versus the regular internal
drive. I think the lobby fill times are largely dependent on
player count at the time. I know that from 3 to 5pm, my lobbies
fill instantly. After 5, it still fills quickly, but usually is
the beginning of increased wait times. After 9pm, it really
hurts trying to find a lobby, but around 11pm, it goes back to
filling quickly. However, the lobby quality is usually shit, and
filled with players from South America and the West Coast.
YMMV, though.

Hey, does Xbox have a rest mode? If so does it allow downloading
while in rest mode? I'll be putting my PS4 in rest mode before I
go to work. By the time I'm home it will be all done and ready
to go.

Yeah there is a way to set up xbox to awaken and download, but
apparently I had it set up incorrectly before. I made a change
but will not find out until we have a random update. I will be
manually turning mine on today.
I will be working on other things like taxes so at least there’s
that.
