Your Thoughts on Pistols in this Game?

I'm just curious to know what everyone thinks of the pistols in
Modern Warfare? For me, this is the first CoD where I could be
one of those guys dominating with a pistol (I use the 1911, and
love it). Of course we have that shotgun pistol, which is always
pretty reliable, but I'm curious what your go to pistol is, and
whether or not you feel they are actually viable in this game.

All handguns are good once you have unlocked all their
attachments. Based on my experience with each while levelling
them up, the best ones are the M19 and the .50 GS; good ones are
1911 and the .357; not bad the X16.

I'll keep that in mind when i fiddle with my class setups later.
Does the M19 have a comparable fire rate to the 1911?

I like the feel of the X16, although the .50 is great if you are
accurate (I'm not great with it)
Haven't unlocked many attachments as I don't use pistol too
often.
I wish i could get an M93 raffica but that isn't going to
happen.

I forgot to mention that the X16 and .357 feel undewhelming when
you use them without attachments. The X16 still does not feel
great after maxing it out. The .357 is very powerful but its
magazine size does not make life easy. :( The .50 GS is the
best without attachments. After you have unlocked its
attachment, its big recoil can be reduced noticeably by
equipping a heavy scope.
