Finishing Moves?

Alright, I have another question that I should know the answer
to, but do not.
Am I correct in assuming that the others, the ones that are not
the generic guy and girl, must be unlocked via completing those
missions in the barracks? Likewise, do you have to do something
in game to unlock a players finishing move? I have 3 opetators
unlocked, and even though I don't care about them or pay
attention to them, I noticed they each have one finishing move
that appears to be locked. So, do you have to own the pass to
unlock finishing Moves, or are they unlocked via completing
missions in the game.

I do not know the answer. The only finishing moves that I have
unlocked were after having purchased the operator.

No, finishing moves are a thing for all operators.
The only things you unlock with the pass are 'special' finishing
moves for the operators.

Are the special finishing moves unique to certain characters, or
can they be used by any operator?

As far as I can tell, the generic finishing move is completed by
any operative.
Through the barracks challenges and battle pass you get 'mini
missions' like the blueprint ones for some of the characters
where you have to have that operative equipped and completing
these unlocks things like a special camo, saying and a special
move for the character that you are using.
Each operatives is different.

All finishing Moves have done for me is get me killed, although
I have fended off quite a few of them as they started. I'm not
sure how to even pull off a finishing move, and end up meleeing
someone in the back repeatedly.

Hold down melee behind an enemy. They can be moving. I don't
think I've done any since I unlocked one of the operators. You
can be shot and killed during the animation and not get the
kill, and a teammate can steal your kill and shoot the guy
you're performing a finishing move on.

Get behind an opponent and instead of tapping 'melee' hold the
button for a finishing move.
I think getting last kill in a match also counts but not
certain.
