The most likely reason why it is not talked about being it is
not the "sexy" MP5 choice. ::) I completed the Topo (mounted
kills) camo challenges playing in Shipment. How did you do the
Splinter (longshot kills) challenge in Shipment? I cannot get
longshots there with SMGs.

Try shoothouse, i got a longshot standing in the back corner by
the blue barrels

Honestly, I get a bunch of kills from the corners. If I am
standing by the trash drums at C spawn, I easily pick people off
who are at the crane. You pretty much have to either A:shoot the
entire length of the map, or B: Climb up on the cargo containers
that is climbable, and kill an enemy across the map.

I went 30-6 with the Bizon last night (Piccadilly). That marks
the first time I have ever maxed out the score in Free For All
(the game ends after 10 mins OR someone reaches 30 kills)
My previous best with any weapon was 24 kills in FFA.
Everybody is using it right now it seems. I wonder if it got a
stealth buff, and I hope the Devs don’t mess with it when the
new season 2 update launches tomorrow
:fingerscrossed:

Kudos. I still have to play a single match of FFA. :o
Someone hand me my "nerfophobia" pills... Please. :D I don't
know about the buff to the Bizon. It had always been good. I
haven't felt a difference since I first used it. My guess is
that it was overlooked because it does not have a "sexy" MP
prefix to its name.

Last night, I noticed something with the Bison, which I am
assuming happens to all weapons, but need your experiences
first.
During the day, the Bison was a melt machine. Absolutely killing
lobbies with it. Then, the later it got, the more hitmarkers I
was getting with it. For the most part, I was jumping around the
same servers I had always been on, so I'm not sure why all of a
sudden it seemed to lose power. I'm guessing that, had I been
paying attention earlier, this is a trend with all of the guns;
the later it gets, the more I find people in my lobbies from
California, Utah, and especially, South America, and all of my
guns turn into hitmarker machines. I noticed this with my MKII
Carbine, when headshots started getting hitmarkers on those
fools who lay down at B flag in shipment, as well.
Anyone else experience this issue the later it gets?

I noticed what you are experiencing on the weekends.
My son said I should “change the channel” on my router so I’m
not competing w/ my neighbors who are downloading who knows
what...
except I looked and didnt see a place to do that.
When I’m not so busy i will upload screenshots of my router page
w/ ips blacked out or whatever (for security)
But what you said seems reasonable... ppl get home from
work/school and start clogging up the bandwidth.

Also: BIZON :D
PS: I named my Bizon loadout “BUFFALO”
(I wish ppl could see your loadout name when they go to pick up
your weapon)

Yeah, man, when you get time, upload those pics. James or I will
be able to walk you through the steps to open your ports, and do
those little things that we shouldn't have to do to enjoy the
game.
For what it's worth, I usually do not mess with the channel
settings in my router. I figure the software in my router knows
better than I ever could know, plus, I think the channel
changes, a lot.

You should not have to open ports or use UPnP in your router.
The NAT protocol opens the ports as needed when the requests
come from your local network to the outside world. When a
request comes from the outer world then it is stopped at the
router. Opening ports is telling the router to allow all traffic
that reaches the router in that port to be forwarded to the
computer specified, thus opening a point of attack where your
system can be probed for vulnerabilities. I do not have open
ports and UPnP is disabled in my router.

What is your NAT in game? I know it's possible to have it open
without doing anything, but for a consistent open NAT,
forwarding ports is the way to go. Correctly forwarding ports
offers better overall online play. Better connections
(debatable), better loading times, mostly though, you won't be
waiting for ever to get into a match. You set a static IP
address to your console and assign it to the console/game
specific ports you forward. Literally no risk. When you start
putting shit in the DMZ, which opens all ports, that is where it
can possibly get bad for you. UPnP is too confusing to me, but
from what I understand it automatically "opens" ports, but has
had serious vulnerabilities discovered in the past for home
routers using UPnP, seems to be better now though.
I have forwarded ports since Advanced Warfare. Never put
anything in DMZ, and have tried UPnP for a while, but have it
off currently. Never had any issues. Have always had an open NAT
in CoD.
To be more clear, you are forwarding specific ports and
directing the traffic to only your console, which you have to
assign a static IP address.
