Tried to get on this morning and no server connection.
All those years of posting and discussion gone in a puff of
smoke :'(

Yea man just noticed it as well. So my all in all 32k+ posts
with 2 accounts I had is gone in less than a second. Pufff Pifff

Yes, they are gone. It is just a couple of minutes before 1:00
AM where I live, checked just before going to sleep, and the
forums are gone. Thanks again to Triumph-Rat for getting this
forum up and running.

www.callofduty.com
8,5 years spend there. With a while being M.I.A.
Help countless people.
Had great discussion.
Seen great and not so great people getting banned.
Seen the leaving of the Devs.
The hydra take over.
The activity that went up again with WW2.
The drop in activity when they first sci fi boost jump cod hot
announced

Showed a lack of class the way they just disconnected it with no
info page, but not surprised at all. Had a quick look on the
other activision support forums... smh.

Tweeted 3 times so far to Activision and Activision support. To
ask a reason why. No response.

When I looked at it one last time last night the top post in the
General Discussion section was, "Campers are ruining the game"
Seemed only fitting to close it out on that one!
I couldn't help but laugh. Had a brief nostalgic moment staring
at the forum avatar I had had since day one, my post count and
likes count, and said a quiet goodbye to a big part of my gaming
experience for the last 6 years, pressed X and.........

You know, I thought I'd be sad when the forums left, and
admittedly, I am. However, I'm finding myself even more pissed
off than anything. The way they mismanaged a whole devoted
community there really, really pissed me off. And to have some
bullshit admin that we've never seen before be the one to post,
in a closed thread no less, the notice that the forums were
shutting down, made my blood boil.
Activision can not handle criticism, and it's almost laughable
at this point. Last year, when Activision Ace's came out I knew
our time was short. Like always, Activision has answers for the
questions nobody asked, and deflects or ignores legitimate
criticism. I'd love to say I'm done with Activision, but Im not
letting their incompetency ruin my CoD fun.
It's a shame we can't all make our own "FUAV" emblems in this
game.

I cannot find now the menu for my Activision account where my
ticket history was listed. I guess they took down that too. i
still got a ticket number when I opened a support ticket a few
minutes ago and now it says that I will be contacted in 4 hours
because "I have now priority access as one of their most loyal
players and I have a direct line to their support experts". What
a pile of excrement! It is most likely that I keep getting that
message because I do not allow cookies to be set since I am
using Chrome on Linux. BTW, this is a nice feature of this
forum. I do not have to run Microsoft Edge!

I just went to the forum. Which I usely do in the morning.
You know get a link to support and links to social media sites.
But not to Reddit. Are they gonna get rid of that to?
