Axel walked through the opening of the void, of his creation. He
looked around to see if he got the location right. "Yep,
definitely the Forest kingdom." Axel smirked, closing the void
with a quick flick of his hand. He push the hood of his head and
continued to look around. " Let's see, evidence of fighting, an
uneasy feel in the air, lack of people." He nodded his head
lightly. "yep, something big happened but I can memorize the
precious events later." He placed his hands down to his sides
and looked straight ahead. "Now, to find the princess." He
added, still smirking to himself. He was grateful for finally
leaving the grounds, he needed to save his home and this was the
only way how.

San had been practicing with her spear to try and get back into
shape. After being unconscious for so long, it had left her weak
and she was determined to regain her full strength and make
Maleficent pay for her transgressions. When Jim had told her of
what had happened since she had fallen into the cursed sleep,
that their aunt had been a dragon the whole time, it had filled
San with a determined anger. She was now out in the training
area the Union used in the forest. She was throwing her spear at
targets and practicing with her knife, slashing viciously at a
mark on a tree. She was about to strike again when the wind
shifted and she caught a strange scent. Glaring, she turned
towards the direction the wind was blowing. She hadn't tried to
take on her dragon form yet, but her sense of smell was still
strong. Someone was coming this way, and whoever they were, she
didn't recognize their scent. With this in mind, San grabbed her
spear and climbed a tree, concealing herself and waiting.

Axel walked carefully through the forest, looking around every
corner for signs of life. When he spotted the marks on the tree,
he stopped and went over. Axel brushed his hand over the marks
feeling the cuts. "odd, someone was training here... and it's
VERY fresh." He looked around quickly. "Come out, come out
wherever you are." he beamed. "I'm not going to hurt... unless
you ask for it." He added, quieter then before.

San glared at the figure as she hid amongst the thick leaves of
the tree. She moved silently from branch to branch as she watch
the figure. He had wild red hair, deep green eyes with marks
under them, and a somewhat wicked mouth, like he had a lot to
smile about. He was wearing a dark cloak and San's immediate
thought was Twilight. However, she kept herself concealed and
refused to appear to him, even thought he spoke to the
surroundings, making it clear he knew someone was close by. If
he headed towards the camp, she would attack, but if he just
left, she would remain hidden.

Axel continued to look around the area for signs of life. His
smile quickly faded as he started to heard the branches moving
above him, he remained unsure if there was someone there or just
an animal. Then he heard what sounded like chatter. He smirked
once again and turned towards it. Axel didn't move forward, he
remained where he stood. He formed one of his chakrams and throw
it at the branches. It cut through a few of them that had be
twitching.

It was just San's luck that she was hiding in the tree quietly
when a squirrel joined her and chatted away at her, causing the
man to look up into the tree. San tried to get the squirrel to
leave, but it was no good. Before she could shut the little
thing up, the man suddenly sent a strange weapon flying towards
her hiding spot, slicing through the branches. San leap off her
branch and did a flip as the weapon cut through where she had
been a moment ago. She had barely hit the ground when she leaped
at the figure with a cry of challenge, her spear aimed for his
chest. He had attacked her and to San, that meant he was the
enemy.

The chakram dissolved after it cut the branches, formed the
other one just in time to deflect her attack. The spear slipped
into one of the gaps in the chakram. Axel used this as a chance
to throw his attack off. Once he did he turned to see his
attack, "If I were you ..." He froze when he learnt her
identity. Axel kneeled down, resting on one leg while the other
was bent. Axel looked down at the ground, horrified to what he
had just down. "I beg for forgiveness, your highness." He added,
"I was unaware it was you."

San jumped back when the man threw her off. She raised her spear
and was about to go in for another attack when suddenly the man
dropped to one knee. San kept her spear at a defensive position
as he spoke. She glared at him, suspicious of this man. He could
easily be a Twilight spy trying to find his way into the Union.
All the same, San would ask him a few questions.
"Identify yourself and your purpose at once." She said in a
voice of cold defense.

"My name is Axel." He stated, not moving. " A former royal guard
and lord protector, trained in the kingdom of fire and raised in
the spirit kingdom." He dissolved his chakram and looked up. "I
have come for the truth, to know if the princess of my homeland
is still alive and to restore my home to it's rightful heir,
Princess San."

"And what proof do you have of your claim?"
San wasn't about to trust Axel given the recent attacks of the
Twilight. He would have to prove his loyalty and his ties to the
Fire Kingdom and Belle first. She kept her spear at the ready,
aimed at his chest.
"And be warned, if I believe you are lying, I will kill you."
That part was a bit of a lie. San was still weak and doubted she
would be able to defend herself for long against Axel, let alone
kill him, if he turned out to be a Twilight soldier.
