Thrax was walking around scoping out the area since he hear
rumors of his little girl being spotted here and that mark
better not have lying to him or else he'd call in a favor to
have the guy tormented worse then he already was. As he walked
around looking he thought back to the time before his baby girl
ran away and his beautiful wife was alive his beautiful
Vanessa...He still was trying to find the deadman that did this
to his family and once he found his baby girl he would let her
join him and teach her the rope...

"but you're just a-"
the girl in question burst into flames, freaking her victim out.
"GIVE ME THE MONEY!!!"
Sobbing the man threw the bag of coins in her direction and took
off running. Sophie turned back into a normal little girl and
brushed soot off her dress calmly. Sophie picked the bag up and
began counting the money in the bag as she walked away,
self-satisfied. It would buy food for at least a week. Maybe
even a couple nights in an in if she was lucky.

Thrax heard the commotion and saw that little girl erupt into
flames "Hey baby girl what are you doing all the way at here
didn't your mama tell you not to show off your powers?" he said
with a smirk as he took off his sunglasses and stared at her

“daddy?” she turned and her eyes widened, her face breaking into
a grin. “DADDY~” Sophie ran and hugged Thrax tightly, before
frowning and looking up at him. “what else can I do to eat?
Where have you been? You could have saved me from loads of
nights alone and cold and starving” she sniffed and rubbed her
nose. “and mom isn’t here. And she’ll never be here again. I
think the rules have changed”

Thrax could have cried if he had enough to shed as he held his
little girl close "Baby girl I've been searching for you when
you ran off I had to get better before finding you by that time
daddy had to find out info from other people and here you
are...yea that is true baby girl but listen I have a nice place
in the shadow kingdom and I have work if you like we can go
there and you won't have to worry about stealing unless its for
a job baby girl" he said standing at his full height hold his
baby girl in his arms and kissed her forehead "Why don't we get
you some better clothes and some food in your belly don't want
your mama haunting me"

She sniffed. “daddy, you’re overusing the baby girl stuff again”
but she was glad for it. It felt wonderful listening to him
gushing over her again. She hugged his neck. “no more stealing
except for fun” she corrected him and smiled “I’d love to go
with you daddy. Will I get a room all my own?” she pouted at him
at the mention of her dress. It was dirty and torn but she still
loved it. “if we find the exact same type, okay. I like this
dress”

"And yes little one you get your own room and sure if I can find
you the same dress i'll get you it now lets get some food in you
if I remember correctly my baby girl loves her daddy's chocolate
chip pancakes and you know I always have pancake mix with me" he
said with a smile as he walks towards the cottage he was renting
while he was in town for his job.

she giggled. "pancakes! oh, daddy! you only make those on
special occasions!" she supposed it was a special occasion of
sorts, after all, they'd just been reunited after a really scary
time when she was all alone. she snuggled into his arms. "I love
you daddy"

"Baby girl I love you too" he said as they came inside and he
showed her to her room which he practically piled sky high with
her favorite toys and blankets as he went about making his
chocolate chip pancakes "sweetheart do daddy a favor and grab me
the eggs and milk from the fridge"

she clapped her hands seeing her temporary room, grabbing her
favorite doll-a worn fox with one eye missing-and tucked him in
her belt next to her knife before running to do as her father
asked, managing to balance the milk on her head. "look daddy!
look what I can do!"
