b[o]redom sucks.

[font=times new roman]bitterpaw lay in a shaded corner of the
camp, flicking her tail back and forth. the black she-cat was
oh-so bored, and she wanted something fun to do. suddenly the
shout of a warrior sent cats to the center of the camp. ooh!
it's a hunting patrol. she thought sarcastically, smirking. like
that was fun. she watched as all the apprentices scrambled to
join. what was so great about that? she wanted something
more.... i don't know, rare? something that you didn't see
everyday? something that included some mischeif. yes... a whole
lot of it. she didn't want a stroll through shadowclan
territory... but maybe on somebody elses? how about the clan's
dear enemy, thunderclan's?
her piercing green eyes scanned the camp, waiting for the
perfect moment to leave. now this would be fun.[/font]

Lionfur padded along through the camp, limp rabbit hanging from
his jaws, and his narrowed amber eyes fell upon Bitterpaw. Did
she have a mentor yet? Well, these had been trying times for the
clan. But still, the strangely named she-cat had the glint of
mischief in her eyes that needed to be thought about by someone.
"Bitterpaw," he murmured, deep voice rumbling through his chest
as he set the rabbit down, "How are you today?"[/center]

waving. in his jaws carried a mouse to eat from the pile, and he
plopped down next to lionfur. "hello." he piped happily, tail

throat as lionfur padded over, but she quickly dismissed it
before it made a sound. "good." she meowed sourly, forcing a
smile. "and you?" great! she thought, tail lashing. just what i
needed... "oh, hey octoberpaw." she meowed as the other tom
padded over. and ANOTHER cat! she almost spat angrily, but she
knew that she would be scolded for being rude. this is just what
i need. i'll never be able to go![/font]

that Octoberpaw had come along to distract the dodgy she-cat. He
picked up his prey again and eyed her for a moment longer,
before putting it down once more. "You haven't been given a
mentor yet, have you?"[/center]

Rowanpaw, the infamous, boastful, rude tom most avoided,
couldn't help but eavesdrop on the small gathering near the
center of camp. "In my opinion, being mentorless is great![i]
Just swell. I mean, who [i]doesn't want to run around, taking
orders from random warriors that aren't doing anything
themselves?" His voice was smothered with sarcasm, of course. He
eyed Bitterpaw curiously, wondering what her response would be.
She was unpredictable; that he knew. And it only made it more
fun to talk to her.
