Showpaw bounced around, excited. The small sandy-colored tom
hadn't done any hunting in quite a while, but his green eyes
shone bright, and he smiled. "Mee! mmmeeeee!" he cried, eager to
go. As his paws pounded against the floor, he squealed with
glee.

Astralblossom laughed at the bouncy tom apprentice "You can
come..." She looked at him "IF you make one promise" she said
sternly and looked down at Showpaw. "Do you promise to not scare
all the prey away like you did last time?" Astralblossom teased
the excited tom apprentice. Astralblossom looked around "We need
one more cat to come with us..." She murmured and looked to
Showpaw "Who else should come with us?" she questioned him.

to settle down, but his tail still twitched playfully. "I
promise!" he vowed happily, and his whiskers twitched.

"I'll join." came a gentle meow from behind Astralblossom.
Lumberjack, having been lingering around camp for quite some
time, was eager to get out and stretch his limbs. His sleek,
chocolate fur betrayed rippling muscles, a feature the
ThunderClan warrior took pride in. His deep orange eyes scanned
Astralblossom with curiosity, then moved to Showpaw. This would
be a fun patrol.

leaped high up into the air in anticipation. Did he get high on
catnip or something? but anyway, he gave a broad grin to
Lumberjack. "Hey Lumberjack!" he called cheerfully in welcome.

Lumberjack felt a purr rise from the back of his throat. "Hello,
Showpaw." the ThunderClan tom replied cooly, enjoying the toms
enthusiasm.

misty and the sky was a pale gray. "Just love this weather" The
deputy breathed and listened for any prey. She scanned the
forest floor trying to find a klutzy mouse among the wet
undergrowth and leaves.[/font]
